ADULT ENRICHMENT CLASS – Sundays, 11:30am – Opal Room – Class will resume in January COMMUNITY DINNERS – 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays, 5:00pm – 6:00pm – Social Hall – The next dinner night is January 1st. For more information on how you can be involved, contact Pastor G at [email protected]. COFFEE HOUR – Sundays, 11:15am – Join us in the Social Hall after worship on Sundays for refreshments and conversation. Relax as you meet new people and catch up with long-time friends. The Finance Committee is our host for December. FOOD PANTRY – Please consider donating to our food pantry this holiday season. We are in need of Oatmeal (the boxes with individual packets) and canned soup. One box of oatmeal and one can of soup per family will go a long way to helping fill our food boxes. A special THANK YOU to Ralph’s and the Los Osos Pet Store for donating boxes to our food pantry. ALL CHURCH CHRISTMAS CARD – Instead of sending cards to church friends, donate the cost of the cards and postage to the All Church Christmas Card. The money collected will be donated to a local charitable organization. Sign the card on display in the narthex when you make your donation. CHRISTMAS COOKIES AND TREATS – We will share a bit of home with the first responders in our community again this year. Bring your goodies to the church on Christmas Eve. Pastor G and Rachel will deliver packages to our Fire and the Sheriff’s Stations. ALTERNATE GIVING WITH HEIFER INTERNATIONAL – Heifer International is a global nonprofit working to eradicate poverty and hunger through sustainable, values-based holistic community development. Heifer distributes animals, along with agricultural and values-based training, to families in need around the world as a means of providing self-sufficiency. Stop by the display in the Social Hall for information on how you can donate to Heifer International.

SYLVESTER’S GIFT CARDS FUNDRAISER – Purchase a $10 Sylvester’s gift card from VCC and help them raise money for some much needed playground equipment. Each card buys one burger, fries and a drink. See Teacher Kym or Teacher Ryan at VCC, or MaryAnn in the church office to get your gift cards today! 30% of all proceeds benefit VCC.

WOMEN’S RETREAT – Feb 16-18, 2018 – All the women of Trinity are invited to the retreat this coming February. Our speaker is Paula Huston, author of two novels and seven books of spiritual nonfiction, including The Holy Way and One Ordinary Sunday. She is also an oblate of the New Camaldoli Hermitage in Big Sur. Paula will lead us in a retreat on prayer: "What is it? What fosters it? What impedes it? How does it change us?" Join us in San Juan Bautista as we explore the "Journey of Prayer". Registration brochures are available on the information stand in the narthex. We’ll have fun together vacuuming, polishing, scrubbing (sweating! ☺) and snacking, too – donuts will be served! Come help make our facility sparkling clean in time for the holidays. We’ll work on the Social Hall and Kitchen on 10/28, and on the Sanctuary on 11/4.
