Cambs Lock is a truly magical place filled to the rafters with an eclectic mix of wonderful items. Delve into those nooks and crannies and prepare to be delighted with the choice and vision of things just a little unusual.

The current owner, took over the former Hunts Antiques and Collectables more than four years ago and has a wealth

of knowledge and a huge passion for the business, now re-named Cambs Lock Antique Centre in reference to her roots in Camden Lock.

Home to 70 traders dealing in everything from antiques and collectables to jewellery, vintage clothing, handmade crafts and giftware. “It’s not just a home for antique

furniture as you will also find many examples of new and upcycled pieces,” explains Paula.

If you’re looking to enjoy a good bargain hunt then there are rummage rooms too; you’ll be amazed at what you will find! For the football fans there is a den devoted to football memorabilia, ideal for that interesting gift or an addition to your collection.

Cambs Lock Antique Centre is the equivalent of a High Street all under one roof where there is something for everyone with visitors travelling from as far away as Kent to sample the delights. Paula and her team challenge you to look and not find something that appeals to you.

With Christmas approaching, ditch the online shopping and shop local! Call in for your Christmas tableware, stockings and bunting and for those truly individual gifts for your loved ones.

And there’s moreThe building itself has an interesting history with one side having housed the Drill Hall for the Huntingdonshire Cyclists Battalion, even including a rifle range! This was then joined to the building on the other side of a lane to form the current premises. It is still possible to see evidence of the lane as it runs through the shop.

Something for everybody, a great place to buy an unusual gift or treat for

The NativityA selection from the Medieval Mystery Plays as adapted for The National Theatre by Tony Harrison

2-5 December 2015, St. Mary’s Church, Huntingdon

Long before Jesus Christ Superstar there were the medieval Mystery plays: a mixture of religious stories and street theatre, folk-rock band and pantomime, providing a foot-tapping, sometimes irreverent, often outrageous but generally touching retelling of stories from the Bible.

The Nativity begins with the Creation and the Fall of Lucifer, tells of the temptation of Adam and Eve, of Noah’s Ark, the Birth of Christ and the journeys of both the Kings and the Shepherds to Bethlehem, and finally of the destruction of wicked King Herod.

Taking place, appropriately enough, in the atmospheric surroundings of St.Mary’s Church Huntingdon, The Nativity provides an updated and very accessible version of the old Medieval Mystery plays suitable for all the family.

Cards for Good Causes Limited (CFGC) pays the participating charities (or their trading subsidiaries) at least 70p in every pound from their card sales, less the VAT payable on the amount retained by CFGC. The retained amount covers CFGC’s costs of running the temporary charity Christmas card shops. Our 2020 Vision: The Road to Renewal is a focus on positive change that transforms our communities to mend “broken Britain”.

Since March 2000 we have been building a team of people who, daily inspired in their work, seek consistently to give excellent service to our customers. This energises our residents, business partners and the wider community and helps us all find a sense of purpose, hope and fulfilment. As we change, transformation occurs and a brighter future becomes reality.

Take the first step!Imagine the excitement of a new start: a past that throws no shadows; the possibility of a different future from the one that you feared.

The first step is to clarify what are your priorities and goals – and, importantly, to know why they are driving your life’s decisions.

What one thing could you commit to do to change the world where you are?
