MESSAGE FROM MR. MOORE

Hello All, Well … its finally here. My last official Tribune. I can’t believe how time has flown! I’m so sad to be saying goodbye to this wonderful community. I don’t want to bore you with a repeat of last week’s comments, so I will just say this: Thank-you for welcoming me into the Fundy Family. I will miss you all dearly and I wish this school every success in the future. Speaking of community…thank-you to our PAC and the many local sponsors that are supplying pizza lunches, cookies, and candy canes for grade 8-12 students this week (and treats for our Grade 6/7s). The families and businesses that donated are listed on page 4 so be sure to check them out! The schedule is as follows:

• Grade 8s: Monday • Grade 9s: Tuesday • Grade 10s: Wednesday • Grade 11 and 12s: Thursday • Grade 6/7s: Friday (sweets and iced tea only)

Just another example of why I love this place! I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank-you for all of your kind words, messages, and emails over the last week…they have meant so much to me. Can’t believe we made it to the end of 2020! The PAC has been so grateful for the supportive families in this community, particularly during challenging times! To spread some Christmas cheer this week, some businesses and families are so graciously providing our students Grade 8 through 12 with a free individual pizza, can of iced tea, a cookie and a candy cane!

Mark your calendars, our next PAC meeting will be Monday, January 18, 2021 at 7:30 pm. We’d also like to show our appreciation for Mr. Moore and his support of our PAC, the families and the students in our school! We are truly going to miss him and all that he has added to our Fundy community! We truly wish him all the best at Langley Fine Arts! Merry Christmas from the LFMSS PAC!!
