Gateway Place is the first phase of a multi-phased mixed use development situated at the north end of the fast developing Surrey City Centre and as the name portends, the site is located at the “Gateway” to this area. The site is one block from established commercial areas along King George Boulevard (Highway 99 A), which is a regional Highway that easily connects to New Westminster, Burnaby, Vancouver and the heart of Surrey. The property is adjoining the Gateway SkyTrain station, which is an efficient 34 minute commute from Downtown Vancouver, and only one stop from the Central City Mall and SkyTrain station. When completed, the building will comprise a 56,000-sf, four-storey LEED Gold office building coupled with 38,500 sf of retail space. The retail portion of the development will be anchored by both food and drug stores.
