Background

• Up to 2019, centres used the ePortfolio application to upload a sample of AS and A2 compositions for moderation. Accompanying commentaries had to be printed and supplied hardcopy

• In 2018-19, CCEA developed an eSubmission application for the upload of GCSE Language Speaking tests. In the summer 2019 series this new resource facilitated the successful upload of 9500 speaking test files from centres

• eSubmission being rolled out to other subjects for 2020, including upload of composition files and associated documents for GCE Music

Lead teacher registered for eCRS able to access ePortfolio to upload files (via Central Login)

All teachers registered for eCRS able to access eSubmission to upload files (via Central Login)

ePortfolio only available to lead teachers from date sampling information made available

eSubmission available to teachers when centre entries are processed

ePortfolio only able to accept one file per candidate, in mp3 or WMA format. This meant commentaries could not be uploaded
