Technical quality
Whoever treats air must master it
The fact that our air treatment is neither seen nor heard, although one is agreeably aware
of it, and that in the meantime it avoids energy and wasteful costs, is due to our precision
air-treatment work in both hardware and software.
Can a building with large glazed areas be heated during spring and autumn on its north
side and cooled on its south side, with only one system and without having to switch on
the central heating? Does a plant in the pharmaceutical or electronic industry, for instance,
which heats, cools, humidifies and dehumidifies the air, also offer protection from dirt and
bacteria? Can investors and building owners calculate the life cycle costs of a central plant
air handling unit, determine the effect of energy-saving equipment on the operating cost
for this purpose, and thus select the optimal efficiency class right in the configuration stage
of the plant?
GEA has found answers to this and many other questions concerning air treatment and cli-mate control and has implemented them in solutions which reflect its experience gained

trum of central and decentral air treatment plants, separators and filter plants up to com-
plete clean room systems. The function, control, and design of such facilities can be

installation, air or water-cooled, there is a vast variety of equipment
with or without heat pump and an extensive spectrum of accessories
available to you within the capacity range of 4.9 - 2.749 KW.
Last but not least, GEA chillers are characterized by their efficiency and
high energy conservation potential, additionally underlined by the use
of high-quality components and environmentally-friendly refrigerants
R-410A and R-134a, which are used in most GEA chillers depending
upon the model. With GEA chillers and heat pumps with reversible cir-
cuit, you can provide energy not only for cooling, but also for heating.
And if you require a compressor/condensing unit or want a system
with external condenser, our program includes the correct unit for you
here as well. The choice is yours.
