CLIMATE AND LAND

Qatar has a dry, subtropical desert climate, with low annual rainfall and intensely hot and humid summers.

Most of Qatar is flat and rocky with a lot of sandy plains. Low hills at the western and central part and massive sand dunes in the southeast. Along the east where the coast is houses small areas of trees and shrubs. Since Qatar is located near the Arabian Gulf it is a hotspot for oil. Also along eastern Qatar is other major places where oil and gas is found.

WHAT MAKES NIGERIA UNIQUE?

• There are a lot of things that makes the country of Nigeria unique, but to me the most interesting that makes Nigeria unique is a Nigerian native person named Hakeem Olajuwon. Hakeem wan born in Lagos, Nigeria and emigrated to the United States in Houston, Texas. There he played basketball at the University of Houston and played professionally in the NBA as a member of the Houston Rockets franchise. There he lead to the Rockets to its first two NBA championships and is considered to be the best center ever. Years past he was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame.
