    about 20km east of Ipoh and about 150 km northof Kuala Lumpur in Pahang, Malaysia. Cameron is

    also the most extensive hill stations in Malaysia.

    Relief:Relief: At 5,000 ft (1200m) above sea level is the

    highest area on the mainland. That's why its called highland.

    ClimateClimate The average temperature in Cameron Highlands is

    about 23 degree celcius during the day and about10 degree celcius during the night.

    Btw, it is obvious that the temperature of CameronHighlands is increasing due to too muchdeforestation. Sad :(

    Economic ActivitiesEconomic Activities Tourism and agriculture are the main economic

    activities in Cameron Highlands.

    Cameron Highlands are still home to many teaplantations, being Malaysia's largest tea-producingregion. It is also known as a major supplier ofleagumes and vegetables to both Malaysia and

    Singapore with its many farms,and is one ofMalaysia's prime tourist destinations.

    Transportation/Communications There are 2 modes of travel : bus and taxi

    The communications in Cameron Highlands seem tobe uneasy because the place is not sodeveloped and it is a hilly area which is awayfrom the city.

    The internet services are satisfactory.

    Settlement/ PopulationSettlement/ Population The 3 townships are Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Brinchang.

    The 5 settlements are the Bertam Valley, Kea

    Farm,Tringkap, Kuala Teria and Kampung Raja. Most of the people stay in apartments or villages.

    There are about 50,000 living in Cameron.(mostlychinese)

    InfrastructureInfrastructure The only way to Cameron Highlands in by road. It could

    be reached from Ipoh, Kota Bharu, Kuala Lipis, Kuala

    Lumpur, Penang or Singapore. The road is very windyand makes people get dizzy easily because it is a hillyarea.

    There are few schools in Cameron.

    ClimateClimate Shah Alam experiences a tropical rainforest climate.

    Temperatures are constant throughout the year with

    an average high temperature of 31.9 Celsius and anaverage low temperature of 27.8 Celsius.

    Shah Alam is warmest in the month of March, and mostheavy rain during the month of November as the

    northeast monsoon moves in from October to March.

    VegetationVegetation Shah Alam does not have grassland, farmland or

    forest but there is a recreation park.

    Transportation/CommunicationsTransportation/Communications Travel seems to be quite easy in Shah Alam.

    We can travel by buses, cars, taxi, and KTM in ShahAlam. But we can't hitchhike because it is verydangerous to do that.

    The KTM Komuter commuter train service provides topeople who use public transportation to other major

    cities, connecting Shah Alam via the Batu Caves. The Internet services are quite good.

    Settlement/ PopulationSettlement/ Population Most of the people in Shah Alam live in towns and

    residential area.

    There are about 481654 people in Shah Alam.(mostly Malays)

    InfrastructureInfrastructure Shah Alam has expressway, railway, KTM....

    Shah Alam is near the port. This is an advantage of building

    factories in Shah Alam, because the goods produced can beeasily sent to the port and the cost of transportation willbe lesser.

    Shah Alam is served with many private clinics that exist in

    every part and residential parks in the city.There are 4private hospitals in Shah Alam.

    There is a huge stadium in Shah Alam which is Stadium ShahAlam.
