Um die elegante Linienführung des neuen Mercedes Coupés noch sportlicher zu

akzentuieren, entwickelten die BRABUS Designer einen sportlich elegant ge-

formten Aerodynamik-Kit.

Der Karosserieumbau besteht aus Frontspoiler und Heckschürze, die beide aus hoch-

wertigen PUR-R-RIM hergestellt werden und damit besonders passgenau und pro-

blemlos in Wagenfarbe lackierbar sind.

Der BRABUS Frontspoiler verleiht dem Gesicht des Mercedes CL nicht nur noch mar-

kantere Züge: Durch eine ausgefeilte Formgebung wird bei hohen Geschwindigketen

der Auftrieb an der Vorderachse spürbar minimiert, was sich in einer weiter gesteiger-

ten Fahrsicherheit ausdrückt.

Die Heckschürze, die ebenfalls als Ansatzteil für den Serienstoßfänger konzipiert wur-

de, ist so geformt, dass die BRABUS Vierrohr-Sportauspuffanlage optimal in die Heck-

ansicht integriert wird.

Aerodynamik Design

T o add even more sporty emphasis to the elegant lines of the new

Mercedes coupe BRABUS designers developed a sporty yet elegant

aerodynamics kit.

The body conversion consists of a front spoiler and rear apron made from

high-quality PUR-R-RIM to ensure precise fit and problem-free painting.

The BRABUS front spoiler adds striking extra features to the face of the

Mercedes CL. Its refined shape also noticeably reduces lift on the front

axle, further improving driving safety.

The rear apron, also designed to be easily mounted to the stock bumper, is shaped for

optimal integration of the quadruple-tailpipe BRABUS sport exhaust.

Aerodynamic, design

Auf dem neuen Mercedes CL Coupé können BRABUS Monoblock Leichtmetallfel-

gen in verschiedenen Breiten und Designs in 18, 19 oder 20 Zoll Durchmesser

gefahren werden.

Größte Rad/Reifen-Kombination ist das Format 9,5Jx20 rundum, das in den drei ver-

schiedenen BRABUS Rad-Designs Monoblock III, IV und V montiert werden kann.

Während das polierte Monoblock IV Fünflochrad in einteiliger Ausführung und zusätz-

lich auch in einer Chromdesign-Version verfügbar ist, stehen die beiden anderen Sty-

lings in mehrteiliger Ausführung zur Disposition.

Als Bereifung können Michelin und Pirelli Hochleistungspneus in der Größe 245/35

ZR 20 rundum gefahren werden.

Speziell abgestimmt auf diese Rad/Reifen-Kombination ist der BRABUS Tieferle-

gungskit. Das prozessorgesteuerte System erlaubt es dem Fahrer, über einen Schalter

im Cockpit drei verschiedene Fahrzeughöhen zu wählen. Damit kann das CL Coupé um

bis zu ca. 20 Millimeter tiefergelegt werden.

Um die hohen Fahrleistungen stets sicher kontrollieren zu können, kann der Mercedes

selbstverständlich mit einer speziellen BRABUS Hochleistungsbremsanlage mit 370 x

36 mm großen, gelochten und innenbelüfteten Scheiben sowie Sechs-Kolben Festsät-

teln ausgerüstet werden.

Fahrwerk, Sicherheit

T he new Mercedes CL coupe can be fitted with BRABUS Monoblock

light-alloy wheels in various designs and widths in 18, 19 or 20-inch

diameter.

Largest possible wheel/tire combination is the 9.5Jx20 format all around

which is available in three BRABUS wheels designs, Monoblock III, IV

and V.

While the polished Monoblock IV five-hole wheel - also available in a

chrome version - is a conventional rim, the other two designs are split-rim

wheels.

Pirelli or Michelin high-performance tires in size 245/35 ZR 20 can be mounted all

around.

The BRABUS lowering kit is matched specifically to this tire/wheel combination. The

computer-controlled system allows selection of three different ride levels via a switch in

the cockpit. The system is capable of lowering the CL coupe by up to about 20 millime-

ters.

To keep the power under control at all times the Mercedes can be fitted with a custom

BRABUS high-performance brake system. It features perforated, internally ventilated

disks in size 370 x 36 mm and six-piston brake calipers.

Suspension, Safety

F ür das V12 Triebwerk des Spitzenmodells CL 600 ist der neue BRABUS S V12 Hub-

raummotor mit 450 PS / 331 kW bei 5750 U/min und einem maximalen Dreh-

moment von 635 Nm bei 4300 Touren im Programm. Das Resultat dieser eindrucksvollen

Kraftentfaltung sind eine auf 5,5 Sekunden verkürzte Beschleunigungszeit bis Tempo 100

und eine auf 305 km/h gesteigerte Höchstgeschwindigkeit. Für den Achtzylinder-Dreiv-

entiler des CL 500 gibt es drei verschiedene BRABUS Leistungsstufen: Die Palette reicht

vom BRABUS B11 Tuningkit über das BRABUS 5.8 Triebwerk, das 400 PS / 294 kW und

ein maximales Drehmoment von 579 Nm zwischen 3000 und 4250 Touren bietet, bis zum

BRABUS 5.7 Kompressor High Tech Kraftwerk. Der mechanisch aufgeladene V8 produziert

554 PS / 407 kW bei 5600 U/min und 715 Nm Drehmoment bei nur 4000 U/min.

Genauso einzigartig sind die Fahrleistungen des BRABUS CL 5.7 Kompressor: Der Sprint

von 0 - 100 km/h dauert nur 4,9 Sekunden, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit liegt bei über

310 km/h. Die BRABUS Edelstahl-Hochleistungsauspuffanlage mit vier Endrohren verleiht

den Acht- und Zwölfzylinder Motoren nicht nur einen kernigeren Sound, sondern optimiert

auch die Leistungsentfaltung.Die serienmäßige Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung auf 250

km/h kann mit der BRABUS V-max-Unit aufgehoben werden.

Motorenprogramm

F or the V12 engine of the top-of-the-line CL 600 BRABUS offers the S V12 increased displacement engine with 450 hp / 331 kW at 5,750 rpm and

maximum torque of 635 Nm at 4,300 rpm.The results of this impressive power output are a shortened acceleration time for 0 - 100 km/h of just 5.5

seconds and an increased top speed of 305 km/h. For the eight-cylinder three-valve engine of the CL 500 there are three different available BRABUS

performance levels: the BRABUS B11 tuning kit, the BRABUS 5.8 engine with 400 hp / 294 kW and maximum torque of 579 Nm between 3,000 and

4,250 rpm, and the top-of-the-line BRABUS 5.7 Kompressor high-tech powerplant. The supercharged V8 produces 554 hp / 407 kW at 5,600 rpm and

715 Nm of torque at a mere 4,000 rpm. Equally unique is the performance of the BRABUS CL 5.7 Kompressor: Acceleration from 0 - 100 km/h takes a

mere 4.9 seconds, top speed is more than 310 km/h.

The BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with quadruple tailpipes gives the eight and twelve cylinder engines a more powerful sound

and optimizes power yield at the same time. The standard speed limit of 250 km/h can be deactivated with the BRABUS V-max Unit.
