Emergency Relief Efforts• Before 2009: Bangladesh,
Pakistan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burma, USA ($35,817)
• 2009: Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan ($15,000)
• 2010: Pakistan, Haiti ($8,000)
Other International Efforts• 2010
– Haiti ($1,000 for ambulance transport)– USA ($1,400 for health programs for special needs children)– Ethiopia trip ($5,667 for 2-week volunteer effort)– In-kind donations to Haiti (vitamins) and Ethiopia (glucometers,
medical equipment, sports equipment, etc.) valued at combined $21,635
• 2011– Ethiopia ($1,900 via IMHO Canada)– Japan ($2,500 via IMHO Canada)– Haiti (medicines at $10,140)
Moving Forward: Ethiopia• Developing a Clinical Psychology program at the
Gondar University Teaching Hospital in Gondar
Moving Forward: Ethiopia• Other planned efforts– sending a shipment of medical supplies and beds to Bahir
Dar Hospital– sending 5 voltage converters
to Gondar Hospital– developing Bahir Dar School
for the Deaf
Moving Forward: Haiti• Working in partnership with the Dr. Henri Gerard
Desgranges Foundation in Petit-Goave, Haiti to develop medical clinic

• Pursuing grants and partnerships for WASH (Water, Sanitation, & Hygiene) efforts in Sri Lankan refugee camps and destitute communities across Tamil Nadu
• Development of primary health care clinic in Andra Pradesh
