GLOBAL PASSPORT AIESEC FTU HN I. Overview. Vietnam, a beautiful country with marvelous landscape and culture, is on its way to adapt with the fast pace of globalization and world changing development. After years of wars and the afterward reconstruction, Vietnam has done a good job bringing education and economy to a higher level, which helps a lot in empowering the new generations to develop and make change to the new world. Still, the huge population, the disparity, together with the lack of skills and knowledge are now the problems that we have to confront to make a leap toward a brighter future. One obvious issue we are facing is the lack of international knowledge, global interaction and essential interpersonal communication skills. WHAT are we going to do about it? AIESEC, with the vision of peace and fulfillment of humankind potential, came to Vietnam in 2006 and is doing our best to improve the situation. Coming up with the initiative of educating university students about society, culture, business… in a global experience perspective, AIESEC FTU HN proudly introduces Global Passport Course project, with our belief to make a positive change in our society by making impact on the youth through our learning courses.

GLOBAL PASSPORT AIESEC FTU HN

I. Overview.

Vietnam, a beautiful country with marvelous landscape and culture, is on its way to adapt with

the fast pace of globalization and world changing development. After years of wars and the

afterward reconstruction, Vietnam has done a good job bringing education and economy to a

higher level, which helps a lot in empowering the new generations to develop and make change

II. Project in details.

1. Project’s objective.

Our mission is to empower Vietnamese students and prepare them with communication

skills and a global mindset by creating a bridge between them and the outside world through

interactive courses and activities with international friends.

2. Goal.

We believe with this promising project, we are going to make impact, a great, special and long-

term impact on students which will change their living and thinking pattern. So HOW big it

really is? WHAT is the goal we are challenging ourselves to achieve it?

3. Activities.

We aim at creating a global learning and interacting environment for students to truly

participate and live the spirit, starting with the educating course in which interns will design the

content and deliver it to the students. The content of the course could be about cultural and

social topics and be in the form of class lesson, seminars, outdoor activities like fieldtrip and

sport match, and cooking events or anything that gives students a chance to learn.

An important stake holder of the project is interns, who come all the way from their countries to

a totally strange one, to live, to learn and to contribute to the world. Welcoming our interns, we

aim to provide our interns an amazing experience with the global learning environment,

personal self-development, valuable lesson from our learning partners and the chance to

interact with Vietnamese student as the way to know more about our education system. Interns

will be granted responsibility and join the project with us as an official member to make the

project successful.

Job Description 1: Design the course’s content.

Job Description 5: Participate in AIESEC integration events and other events for youths in

Hanoi and attend internal and external meetings related to Project.

To be competent to do all of these, interns coming will be trained by AIESEC and receive

training session from our learning partners on the topic of the course in the first two weeks.

Besides that, for we always want to give our international friends the best experience in

Vietnam, we introduce our Intern Challenge Campaign as a way to integrate them deeper into

Vietnamese culture and life style. Our challenges will be some surprising tasks that make our

interns jump out there and discover more about Vietnam. This will be counted as an official JD.

1. Beautiful Vietnam!
