Thank you for your interest in the Club-Clean franchise. We hope this Prospectus will give you all the information you need about how we work and help you decide whether the opportunity could be for you.

When we started the Club-Clean business in 2006, it provided a fantastic opportunity for us to work in the golf industry providing a truly unique service. The prospect of working for yourself in this enjoyable environment, with no stock, employees or retail premises to look after, soon drew the interest of other people and we franchised the business the following year. With a franchise network, we are able to develop the company as a trusted national brand with the bene�ts of local contacts and knowledge that franchisees bring.

We have now grown to a nationally recognised brand and we work with some of the UK’s largest blue chip companies, golf events companies and at some of the UK’s most prestigious golf courses. Our network of franchisees is spread across the country but we still need coverage in some areas to help us deliver our popular services to all parts of the UK.

As a Club-Clean franchisee, you can o�er this unique service, in your own exclusive territory, using our tried and trusted methods and bespoke ultrasonic technology.

In the UK there are approximately 4 million golfers who play regularly and over 2,700 golf courses. Add in the potential from driving ranges and the potential market place is huge. Even during these times of increased economic pressures, the golf industry continues to thrive and with increasing numbers of youngsters coming into the sport this should continue.

Golfers spend considerable amounts of money on the best equipment they can a�ord, often the investment they make is in the science of the club head and of course, the grooves. Keeping equipment clean is important and is recognised as such by most golfers.

Corporate golf events have always proved popular for companies of all sizes and for the majority, these are annual events which presents repeat custom for our franchisees. This is the same with charity golf events and of course, another important Club-Clean customer is the Golf Club Captain, many of whom hire us for the day for their Captain’s day.

We believe the Club-Clean service is unique because it is precisely that – a service. The Club-Clean experience means that golfers can have their clubs cleaned before they play, or whilst enjoying the bene�ts of the 19th hole.

The service is quick and extremely e�ective and invariably invites lots of attention from golfers, who love the service. Golf club heads come up sparkling and tackiness is brought back to the grips, resulting in a more relaxed hold by the golfer. As well as a clean strike of the ball and the psychological bene�ts of having clean kit, our customer has not had to stand for hours at a kitchen sink cleaning a set of clubs.

We continually seek innovative marketing ideas to promote YOUR business. Currently we have an association with third party golf events companies. By having these associations brings with it more opatunites for booked company club clean paid fee days We can also o�er our customers a Hole in One Competition.

Franchisees operate a mobile cleaning service on two levels:

The �rst is by o�ering the service to golfers at golf clubs on a “pay as you go” (PAYG) basis. Golfers pay to have their full set of clubs deep cleaned while they enjoy their traditional pre-golf bacon sandwich, or post-golf visit to the 19th hole. It takes only 5 minutes on average to clean a full set of clubs, for which we charge just £5. The PAYG work is carried out within a de�ned franchise territory.

Carrying out as much PAYG work in territory is the most e�ective shop window for a franchisee and this generates enquiries for ‘paid for’ events.

In both cases, money earned on the day is nearly all pro�t – the only outgoing spend is on fuel for travelling to the venue.

• We present you with a business “ready to go”, giving you absolutely all you need to start work, and start earning, straight away.

• On an on-going basis, franchisees are supported all the way, receiving invaluable, practical advice and support to enable them to maximise their income opportunities. Help is only a phone call away for our franchisees.

• The Club-Clean franchise is a fantastic opportunity to work in the gol�ng environment. Golf clubs are relaxed and pleasing places to be and the actual work is enjoyable and easy to carry out as the ultrasonic cleaning machine does the work for you!

• Franchisees have total �exibility over the amount of time they dedicate to their business. We have some franchisees who work their Club-Clean territory full time and other work part time. Franchisees decide when and where they want to work.

• Many franchise operations charge their franchisees on-going royalty or commission charges; so the more the franchisee earns, the more they have to pay the franchisor. We believe in a di�erent model whereby a �xed annual licence fee is paid. Franchisees know their costs from the start.

• Club-Clean have established associations with large national companies and corporate golf events companies since 2006. Along with our on-line presence we are able to secure large numbers of ‘paid for’ events which are allocated to local franchisees.

Club-Clean is a Franchise : A franchise is a right granted to an individual or a group to market a company’s goods or services under licence within a certain territory. Some examples of popular franchises are McDonalds, Subway, Dominos Pizza and of course Club-Clean. Since a franchise company already has a business model in place you can, with the franchisors training and support, focus on running a successful business. The Club-Clean team brings together years of experience and practical tools, promotions, advice and backup, which will help you to grow your business and give you the support when you need it.

What are the other start up costs? You will need to buy a small white van or trailer.

Why don't you include the van? We think that as it is your business, you should have the choice of new/used to suit your budget.

How much can I expect to earn? Club-Clean gives the opportunity to strike a more satisfying work/lifestyle balance and as the business o�ers great �exibility, you can work as often or as little as you like. We take no royalty fees and a large proportion of your income is cash. Your income will depend on how many days you wish to work and the level of your �air and enthusiasm for developing your business. Typically you can earn £100 - £350 per day.

What about the seasonality of Golf? It is more to do with the weather than the gol�ng season. PAYG can be done at any time of the year, corporate and paid for work is typically between March and late October. Why not put the hours in during the summer and enjoy time o� over the Christmas period? This said, there is plenty of forward planning and preparation to be done during the winter months.

What about on going fees? Most franchises take a percent-age of your income to �nance the support network. We feel this is unfair and penalises successful franchisees so we have introduced a Licence Fee paid annually starting after the 4th month of your franchaise agreement. The Licence Fee is £195 per month for the �xed for the term of your agreement, so you know exactly where you stand from day one.
