Good leadership can be felt throughout the entire organisation. With good leadership corporate culture isn’t forced its developed. Decisions and promotions are based on picking people with integrity whose talents and experience best fit the role. Employees are encouraged to compete with their own best to get ahead. Employees understand that helping their co-workers to succeed is the best way to get ahead themselves. The RESULT OF GOOD LEADERSHIP 1. High Morale 2. Good Employee Retention 3. Sustainable Long-Term Success Bad leadership can also be felt throughout the entire organisation - only NOT IN A GOOD WAY. Corporate culture becomes a meaningless term where leaders claim it exists and employees shake their head in frustration. Decisions and promotions are not based on integrity or talent but on who can talk the talk or who is deemed to be the least threatening to the current leadership team. Employees are taught “survival instincts” to get ahead of co-workers leading to the Lobsters Syndrome of tearing one-another down throughout the organisation. The RESULT OF BAD LEADERSHIP 1.
