•That the final design approval for the building of Government Conference Centre Rehabilitation Project be granted subject to the following conditions:

– The recommendations of the FHBRO Review of Intervention Report be followed and integrated in design;

– The details of the mechanical penthouses be refined with the goal of reducing the visual impact of this component;

– That the building’s public art programme be further developed and supplemented;– The landscape design be further developed and submitted for NCC review and

when satisfactory be submitted for approval by the Board of Directors;– The development of the landscape design enable future implementation of any of

the proposed at grade plaza schemes of the 2009 Node Study, in keeping with the Concept Approval granted on September 11, 2015.

•That the preparation and signature of the Federal Design Approval document associated with this submission be delegated to the Executive Director, Capital Planning Branch.
