Overall Goal of Project

• KSWebIZ will maintain a high level of data quality and compliance with the NVAC approved functional standards for immunization registries and will contain a record with two or more immunizations for 95% of Kansas children less than six years of age by December 31, 2010.

• Currently connected– Vital Statistics (nightly batch load)– Medicaid (nightly batch load)– Kansas Women, Infant and & Child (KWIC)– Netsmart Insight (real-time, two-way) = 4 providers– KIPHS, PHClinic (real-time, two-way) = 49 providers– Office Practicum (real-time, two-way) = 1 provider

Data Use• Currently:

– Direct Entry providers have access to run their own coverage rates and data quality reports.

• Future:– Publish county and state level coverage and

saturation reports on KIC.

• Barriers:– Need to ensure complete and accurate data.– Need to gather stakeholder input on needed public

reports.
