46 million gallons of water are saved each year through innovative cooling tower technology. One of the largest rooftop solar-thermal systems in the United States provides hot water for swimming pools, spas, and portion of the hotel tower at The Palazzo. 680 solar photovoltaic panels generate 116kW(DC) of electricity. More than 12 million gallons of potable water are saved through the nano-filtration system each year; it allows us to be “off the water grid” for horticulture needs at The Palazzo. 85% of our suite lighting is the latest LED technology. More than 55% of waste campus-wide is recycled, reused, or repurposed. Canyon Ranch SpaClub® offers various health and wellness programs for your attendees. We are a proud partner of B&B Hospitality Group, which feature several restaurants on our property that are Green Restaurant Association certified. As an integrated resort, we have everything under one roof. The meeting and convention space is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel and public transportation to help reduce your carbon footprint.

The Green Meeting Concierges are professionals with knowledge and experience in both sustainability and event planning. They will be your dedicated guides and assist you throughout the entire event planning process.

Understand your company values It is important for us to learn your company values, so we can help you achieve your sustainable goals with seamless operations.

Provide guidance in setting event sustainability goalsWe can either adopt your sustainability goals for your events or help you set achievable goals which are also aligned with your company values.

Post-event Impact Statement Upon your request, you will be provided with a Sands ECO360˚ Impact Statement highlighting total energy and water consumption, recycling rate, carbon emission, and highlights of your sustainability initiatives.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programs Many clients express interest in hosting CSR events, allowing their attendees to give back to the community. We can work with our local partners to customize a selection of CSR programs to suit your meeting objectives.

Donation ProgramOur robust donation program will allow you to provide your left-over materials from the event to the community members who are in need.

Sustainable DécorDécor also plays an important role in green events. We offer sustainable decoration options which can be donated, reused, repurposed, or recycled.

Digital Signage Throughout the Convention Center, digital signage has been installed to assist in guiding guests and communicating valuable event information. The digital signage program is designed to lessen the need for static signage, reduce waste, and improve overall image of the event.
