SUBJECT LABS
Laboratory of following subjectsConcept of Laboratory
Grammangal Subject Laboratory
•Language•Mathematics•Science•History•Geography•Arts/Handicrafts•Music•Food and nutrition•Environment
•Every subject is a science by itself.•Every subject should be projected to students as a science.•Children need to understand the concepts in any subject. Not enough to study any subject piecemeal but need to understand it from all angles.•Traditional classroom teaching is unable to satisfy this need.
•Every subject is systematically laid out in a laboratory, based on its development trajectory.•Children can visit these laboratories and improve their understanding.•They will also be able to resolve the mutual relationship between subjects e.g., History/Geography, History/Language, History/Science, and other subjects too.
Practical implementation
•Subject Lab is started in Bharat Vidyalay, Wai•Bharat Vidyalay is a school for Children of Below Poverty Line families setup by Kirloskar Foundation, in Wai.•This school is under Grammangal consultancy.
