GranVille Mini

GranVille® MiniStandard size GranVille luminaires are ideally

mounted at 8 to 14 feet for safety and security,

the “Mini” version of this tasteful luminaire is

typically mounted at 5 to 8 feet. Even with its

smaller scale, the GranVille Mini provides the same

high quality performance and durability.

Its classic glass refractor is able to weather heat and

storms, while blending with almost any architectural

style and out-performing conventional plastic globes.

The fixture’s illumination is comfortable and appealing,

yet controlled and unobtrusive.

Holophane’s mini version of its popular GranVille luminaire

is practical and economical for homeowners and businesses,

with a minimum number of luminaires needed to achieve

the desired look and lighting results.

The luminaire is available in two distincthousings ensuring the appropriate transitionbetween pole and luminaire in any installation.The “Leaf” style housing will predominatelybe installed in commercial applications andcan mate with a variety of decorative polesor wall brackets designed to enhance anygiven landscape.

The “Simple” style housing will be used extensively in the residential marketplaceand can be paired with an ornamental decorative surface mount or less ornate simple direct burial post. The ultimate goalwould be to increase pedestrian safety,enhance your home’s architecture, andincrease the long – term value of your property.

In addition, a variety of decorative trimoptions such as finials and decorative bandsallow the GranVille Mini to blend with anysite architecture.

General DescriptionThe luminaire consists of two maincomponents, a ballast housing, and aprismatic glass optical assembly.

Optical AssemblyThe optical assembly is a preciselymolded thermal resistant borosilicateglass reflector and refractor with orwithout decorative finial. The upperportion of this system incorporates aseries of reflecting prisms that redirectsthe upward light into the controllingrefractor while allowing a soft uplightcomponent to define the traditionalacorn shape of the luminaire. Thelower portion uses precisely moldedrefracting prisms to control the distribution of light to maximize uniformity. Two unique optical assemblies are available, designed forasymmetric and symmetric lighting distributions.

Leaf Ballast HousingThe ballast housing contains the ballastand other electrical components. Thehousing is cast of aluminum alloy withraised oak leaf pattern and is designedto flow gracefully from a 3" diameterdecorative post. The housing will besecured to the post by three setscrews.

Simple HousingThe simple housing is a smooth cylindrical housing designed for the200W incandescent lamp only. Simplehousing is for a 3" decorative poleshaft and is not intended to be usedwith a 3 x 3 inch tenon.

InstallationRefer to the installation manual providedwith each luminaire as to the specificmethod of wiring and mounting of theluminaire.

FinishThe luminaire is finished with polyesterpowder paint applied after a sevenstage pretreatment process to insuremaximum durability.

UL ListingThe luminaire is UL listed as suitablefor wet location at a maximum 40°Cambient temperature. QL units aresuitable for wet location at a maximumof 30°C ambient temperature.
