5th Grade Bucket Filling Scholarship
A Bucket Filler is a person who positively impacts others through kindness, appreciation and love on a daily basis.
The Green Springs 5th grade class is pleased to announce the 2015 Bucket Filling Scholarship for an Olathe School District graduating Senior.
In order to be eligible, applicants must have attended Green Springs for a minimum of three years and graduating from an Olathe School District High School in May of 2015.
Applicants should complete the information below and write a one page essay entitled,
“As a Green Springs Gator and graduating Senior, I have been a Bucket Filler by…”
The application below and essay are due to Dr. Todd Wheat, Green Springs Principal, by the end of the day on April 17, 2015.
Submitted applications and essays will be reviewed by our current 5th grade class. Essays will be presented anonymously to the students who will vote on the essay that is the most meaningful to them. The author of the winning essay will be rewarded with a $500 college scholarship. The recipient of the scholarship will be notified by May 1st. The graduating Senior will also be asked to attend the 5th grade celebration on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00pm to be recognized and honored for this scholarship.
