Greetings from Benjamin, Constant, Amazon, Brazil! September, 2016
It’s always such a blessing to share all that
God is doing here as a result of your prayers,
support and participation. Every day, God has
something new to show us, something new to teach
us and some way in which He wants to use us. May
He continue to mold us and use us for His glory!
After one month, Daniela, Rosenilde
(Sunday School teachers) and I finished cutting out
figures and organizing another Flannel Graph Kit
which will be used to evangelize and disciple
children in their church. We praise God for these
tremendous resources! Our special thanks this time
to Woodridge Community Church, WI, for this
special donation and to their mission team that
lovingly hauled it all the way here!
Teacher Training Workshop…
“I will praise thee, o Lord, with my whole heart!...”
Psalm 9:1a
Tássia, (picture on left - far right), is a Teacher and
Praise and Worship leader. The first Saturday of August,
Tássia and I team taught a workshop on Children’s Praise
and Worship with the participation of 19 teachers from 7
different churches. What an amazing time we had singing,
learning the difference between singing and praising God,
how to teach new songs, how to make worship dynamic,
the different types of songs, selecting music according to
the goal of the lesson and so much more! After the seminar
and a snack, these enthusiastic teachers made nine song
visuals out of foamy material and letters for the song:
The B – I – B – L – E …

Teachers hard at work! Some of the “fruits” of their labor …
Each teacher received a certificate of participation, pages containing seminar content, a CD of 52
Sunday School songs tested by time and easy to teach (That another pastor’s wife and I recorded.),
sheets containing all the words to these songs and a special handwork page of the song If I were an
elephant… It was an exciting and FUN morning and we all learned a lot!
The middle of August, we held the 2nd Seminary Module in Islândia, Peru. Various ethnic
groups were represented including Marubu, Ticuna and Mayoruna Indian Tribes as well as Brazilian
and Peruvian pastors and leaders. This module began Thursday night and ended with a wonderful
service and time of dedication on Sunday evening. Classes were held mornings and afternoons Friday
through Sunday. Missionary Andrew taught a few of the classes along with Wilson, Evangelist
Maurilio and Pr. Edgardo.
Each group represented took part
praising God in song. There were two
powerful drama presentations.

God continues to bless us with funds to purchase and donate Bibles to
brothers and sisters in Christ in river communities. (Go Coastal Community
Church in VA!) Pr. Ladilau’s church in Porto Cordeirinho, where we helped
with a Baptism recently, is growing. He was so thrilled to be able to take ten
Bibles to the new families in the church.
We are currently in the USA visiting with our kids (More on that later )
and working on the documentation for importing the boat that was donated for
the ministries here. It’s been a real joy to have the privilege of seeing some of
you! Our number while in the USA is: (262) 352-5305. We head back to Brazil September 14th.
All our love and hugs, Wilson and Lori

Wilson gave a short message
followed by a time of prayer and
dedication. They had a tremendous time
studying God’s Word; learning how to
resolve problems in the church, interpret
the Word, etc. These pastors and leaders
(along with their wives) left extremely
blessed, renewed and excited to return to
their field of ministry.
