JUNE 2020 Greetings in Christ’s Name. March the seventh we flew to Chiapas for a 10-day missions trip. During that time we visited seven churches held three days of medical clinics in three churches one In Comitan and in two Tojolabal Indian villages Saltillo and Belisario Dominguez. One of the highlights of this trip was visiting Saltillo where we have a long history of involvement. Years ago, a pastor in the village was killed by the leaders of the village and the Chris- tians that remain fled for their lives. Our friend Pastor Antonio, now with the Lord, who lived in Las Margaritas a nearby city heard of what was going on and drove out to find the people on the road with no where to go, he offered them his home and over the next few weeks fed them. e government stepped in to negotiated land for a place for them to begin again. ey negotiated with the leaders of Saltillo the same ones that had killed the pastor and caused the remaining Christian to flee. (In the Indian villages the leaders rule and the Mexican government doesn’t). Land was obtained in the same area because it was, according to the Saltillo lead- ers worthless because it had not rained there for years. I visited the new village, Chacala, several times. Right aſter the Christians took possession of the land it began to rain and they have prospered. But, what of the lost people in Saltillo that didn’t have a opportunity to know Christ? We prayed along with other Christians for them and God opened a way to go back in and share the gospel. Crystal, Kelly, and I have visited several times at the begin- ning it was a few people in a house today they have a building where they meet. We visited them on this trip Crystal was singing and dancing in the dirt street for joy as they now have free- dom to worship the Lord openly. Praise the Lord! God is good! We continued to visit two other cites where I preached and in the last city spoke twice at a youth conference around 100 youth from different parts of the state came it was a joy to lay hands on and pray for many of them. This 10 day was a whirl wind of activity and we enjoyed every minute of it, except the flight back. Being back in Mexico and ministering was such a blessing to us. We miss the people and ministering to them through the Word of God and medical clinics Thank you for sending us through your giving and prayers.

JUNE 2020

Greetings in Christ’s Name.March the seventh we flew to Chiapas for a 10-day missions trip. During that time we visited seven churches held three days of medical clinics in three churches one In Comitan and in two Tojolabal Indian villages Saltillo and Belisario Dominguez.

One of the highlights of this trip was visiting Saltillo where we have a long history of involvement. Years ago, a pastor in the village was killed by the leaders of the village and the Chris-tians that remain fled for their lives.

Our friend Pastor Antonio, now with the Lord, who lived in Las Margaritas a nearby city heard of what was going on and drove out to find the people on the road with no where to go, he offered them his home and over the next few weeks fed them.

The government stepped in to negotiated land for a place for them to begin again. They negotiated with the leaders of Saltillo the same ones that had killed the pastor and caused the remaining Christian to flee. (In the Indian villages the leaders rule and the Mexican government doesn’t). Land was obtained in the same area because it was, according to the Saltillo lead-ers worthless because it had not rained there for years.

I visited the new village, Chacala, several times. Right after the Christians took possession of the land it began to rain and

they have prospered. But, what of the lost people in Saltillo that didn’t have a opportunity to know Christ? We prayed along with other Christians for them and God opened a way to go back in and share the gospel.

Crystal, Kelly, and I have visited several times at the begin-ning it was a few people in a house today they have a building

where they meet. We visited them on this trip Crystal was singing and dancing in the dirt street for joy as they now have free-dom to worship the Lord openly. Praise the Lord! God is good!

We continued to visit two other cites where I preached and in the last city spoke twice at a youth conference around 100 youth from different parts of the state came it was a joy to lay hands on and pray for many of them. This 10 day was a whirl wind of activity and we enjoyed every minute of it, except

the flight back.

Being back in Mexico and ministering was such a blessing to us. We miss the people and ministering to them through the Word of God and medical clinics

Thank you for sending us through your giving and prayers.

Return Service Requested

I have been frustrated really wanting to be in the middle of missions and ministry. I do carpentry work it pays the bills and I do enjoy it but my thoughts and heart is in Mexico and Latin America. I understand there are needs all around me and as opportunity avails, I share my faith but His call is ever present.

Do you ever complain I guess that is what I have been doing and the Lord is dealing with me to be content in whatever situation I am in. In His time, He will open doors, He will make a way. Maybe you have experienced some of what I am writing about, frustration or cabin fever being on lock down etc. Here is what Paul said about it.

Philippians 4.11 “Not that I speak in respect to need for I have learned in whatever state I am to be content.” So, Paul learned to be content, it is a process of learning.

Pray for us as we pray for you. God answers prayer!
