Facts about motivation
Their are two types of motivation:
- Intrinsic motivation: internally motivated to do something because of pleasure .
-Extrinsic motivation: when a student is compelled to do something because of external
factors.
“There are three things to remember about education. The first is motivation. The second is
motivation. The third is motivation.” - Terrell Bell

Achievable: Challenging realistic goals
Personal: your own goals not someone else
Positive: focus on what you want not negativity
Specific: keeps you from being fooled into believing you’ve achieved a goal when you haven’t
