2010 Contract Agreement with the join venture of Edison Spa – AKTOR, for the design, supply, installationand commissioning of a Perimeter Security System, CCTV as well as Access Control System in a CombinedCycle Power Plant of 450 MW, at Thisvi – Viotia. In operation since 2012.

2011 Contract Agreement with METKA of Mytilinaios Group, for the design, supply, installation andcommissioning of Fire Detection, Gas Detection as well as fire dampers and ventilators control at the450 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant of PPC at Aliveri – Evia. In operation since July 2013.

2012 Supply and installation of X-Ray machines for the scanning of mail and hand luggage's in all entrances ofthe Greek Parliament.

• Is not the fire itself that causes casualties but the smokeand panic which is caused by fire. We plan and supplyintegrated systems to avoid it: fire detection, fire alarm,voice alarm for evacuation, extraction of smoke and anelectrically controlled panic exit system, intended wherepanic situations are foreseen. This system enables theelectrical control of emergency exit doors by means ofan electrical locking and controlling element.

Integrated Security Systems in a wide network: Attiko Metro

7.122 sensitive smoke detectors protect 31 stations, 2 depots and 3 underground parking of Athens Metro, givingalarm signal to the station controller and to the central control room

The fire detection system controls the elevators, the ventilation, the automatic extinguishing system and thespecial fire dampers.

The CCTV, with 650 cameras, provides a complete visual control of the stations from the entrances to the platformsand to the technical areas. It also enables the drivers to control the train platforms.

The Central Clock Control System, with synchronized timing through GPS, shows the exact same time to 650 clocksof Metro network and takes care to synchronize all the devices and systems like ticketing machines e.t.c.

The Public Address system with thousands of loudspeakers in stations and in depots, is controlled by thestationmaster and by the Syntagma control team, passing live prerecorded announcements, music and instructions incase of emergency. The Access Control System in the Cash Counting area, controls 25 gates, 3 gates with bars and 25cameras through high security card readers.

Multi Sector Extinguishing Control

In a Combined Cycle Power Plant we had to control 13 extinguishingsectors with one cylinder battery plus reserve battery. We have solved thisusing Multi Sector Extinguishing Control Panels from Siemens in 19” rackpanel

The extinguishing controlunit is used for displaying,operating and monitoringthe functions of anextinguishing area and itsimmediate environs.All detectors, alarm horn,illuminated warning panel,monitoring devices andcontrollers are connectedto the extinguishing controlunit. If a detector triggersan alarm, it is transmittedto the extinguishing controlunit. At the extinguishingcontrol unit the decision ismade how the alarm is tobe processed..

During the pre-warning time an activationof extinguishing already initiated can betemporarily stopped by pressing the EmergencyHold Button or canceled by pressingthe Emergency Abort Button.The automatic activation of extinguishing canbe blocked as a precaution for maintenancework. In this instance, in the event of fire, it ispossible to press the Manual Release Buttonfor activation of extinguishing

Voice Alarm for safe evacuationin a shopping mall

For comprehensive fire protection, thevoice alarm system E100 is connectedto the fire detection and fire alarmsystem. Should the detectors recognize a fire,the voice alarm system will be automaticallytriggered.Depending on the situation, thepreprogrammed evacuation process will beactivated according to the evacuation plan theowners security and the fire brigade haveagreed. In case of an emergency, everyonewho is at risk can thus be led quickly andsafely away from the danger zone. Whetherthere’s a fire, a fire safety drill or abomb alert, state-of-the-art multi channeltechnology of 8 digital audio channels permitsthe simultaneous transmission of differentkinds of information to different parts of thebuilding.
