Hotel Guide is a mobile web app used simple HTML5 and CSS3 build on Jquery mobile demo based. The app is a functional guide application which purposed used geolocation function and simple layout of writing format that can simply use this app to get organize and memorize.The objective of Hotel Guide aimed to help people who just come to Brisbane can find hotels easily.Users can find hotel information from this app and choose a good one for them.The solgan of this APP is "Wherever you are in Brsibane, you can find hotels easily.the Hotel Guide is simple no complicate steps, easy type in, very convenient app for all age people.

Immigration Place is an independent group who is looking to build /develop / create a site that celebrates the Australian immigration past / present.Certainly the people these stories refer to might be / have been interesting, brave people who decided to (or had to) re-start their lives in another country. However, the way the stories are told in the website is cold, impersonal and makes everyone “look” the same.Our challenge is to design a print publication that tells these stories in a much more interesting way. In a way that the readers / audience can emotionally connect to the people who are telling their stories, opening up their heritage, history and world.

PROCESS

Our project is called “hello Australia” This is a group work. The style of this book we designed like the old journal, This book contained a series of books relating to the immigration website. Three books will be contained in the series in plan, and each books will focus on only one country where people immigration from.

We choose recycle paper for our book, the texture gives a modern feeling and not really matches the style we want to do. we use cotton thread in different colors for each book, because the cotton thread can be show on the spine of books, and we make each country in different color. Furthermore, we use vellum paper for the book cover to match the general outcome.

POP-UP ART BOOK The topic of this book is also about immigration, I use Pop-up as the main concept in my book. The process of my work, I choose four countries' immigration stories through the whole art book: USA, Africa,China and Egypt.I design 4 images suit for these four countries, I draw and carve the statue of Liberty for the USA part, a Africa black woman for the Africa part, a chinese new year picture the chinese part,lastly,I draw and carved the Sphinx and pyramid for the Egypt. I cut my print works and create the 3D page to view each image in creativety way.

My idea of this folio is that I use hand shadow as the concepts to make picture and use these picture to tella story about environment.Nowadays,more and more people have a good quality of life but also want to get more from the nature.They destory the environment,for example,they cut down trees to get more space to build their buildings.However, this does harm to our nature.I think if humanbeings continue to destory environment, one day we can not live in the world any more.
