MESSAGE FROM MRS JONES

I am so excited to be filling in for Mrs E over the next few weeks. My memories of working at Hannam Vale are very fond ones although the Kinders that were with me the last time I was here are now in Year 6!

The next few weeks are looking busy, with CHAFFS rehersals, a soccer gala day, some high school preparations, National Tree Day, Kitchen Garden….. just to name a few.

I have enjoyed meeting the students and some parents last week and look forward to meeting everyone else over the next few weeks

Cheers - Mrs Kathy Jones

P&C News P&C MEETING

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the meeting last Friday. We had a special visit from Katie Nolan who spoke to us in more detail about the “Days for Girls” program. She showed us a sample of one of the sanitary packs that are distributed to girls in need so that they can attend school. Her “Days for Girls” group has been given a beautiful quilt to raffle so they can raise funds to purchase supplies for making the kits. Tickets are available for sale at the Office. Please support this very valuable cause.

CANTEEN

Canteen has returned to operating for lunch every second Wednesday and morning recess on the alternate Monday.

Lunch canteen is operating this Wednesday. Please return your orders ASAP. Morning recess Monday 1st August.

LUCKY PICK WINNER

Thank you to those in our community for continuing to support this valuable fundraiser. We have returned the Lucky Pick to the Shop, so please pass on the message to your friends and neighbours that they can purchase numbers there. Lee Crutcher who has returned from her marvellous holiday, will be selling numbers at the school on Wednesday afternoons.

Last Week’s Winner: Michelle Dennis – again!
