to provide financial assistance to LEPC’s

State or Indian Countryo The development and maintenance of a

system to keep this information current


Planning Grant· Exercises which test emergency

plans· Response procedures for

emergencies involving transportation of hazardous & radioactive materials

· Assess local response capabilities

· Assess the need for Regional Hazardous Material Response Teams


Planning Grant· Hire temporary technical staff to

support your planning requirements· Conduct transportation-related

hazardous materials emergency drills and exercises.

· Any other planning project relating to the transportation of hazardous materials which is approved by TDEM.

All projects must be related to Transportation of Hazardous Material
