The SCE is a heavy duty, single stage, overhung processpump built in accordance with the Last Edition of API

610.

The SCE is ideally suited for all refinery and petrochemicalplants, oil fields and pipelines, as well as offshore, marineand dock services.

The SCE process pump has a hydraulic range unequaled inthe industry.

Qualified specialists in all departments ensure that thepumps and equipment from our facilities are able to operateunder the most severe conditions.

Intensive research and development ensures that theproducts of Ruhrpumpen are continuously improved tomeet the latest technical requirements.

1 The standard design incorporates special enhancedInpro/ Seal bearing isolators with cooling action.

RF, finish per ANSI B16.5.

The pump casing has centerline support feet integrallycast with the case for equal thermal expansion orcontraction.

The impeller is closed, single suction, statically anddynamically balanced.

Renewable front and back impeller wear rings arestandard.

The gland utilizes four studs to insure a secure fit whenmechanical seals are utilized. All studs used in the sealinggland and bearing bracket covers are ASTM A 193 Gr B7.

The impeller is keyed to the pump shaft and positivelylocked in place by a cap nut.

. The stepped shaftpositively positions impeller and sleeve and permits freeexpansion at high temperatures. Gasketed shaft sleevepositively seals and eliminates leakage under the sleeve.The sleeve extends through the gland.

The seal chamber is larger than API dimensions and willaccept all mechanical seal arrangements.

Standard flanges are 300#

The shaft is designed with a larger diameter and minimumlength to reduce shaft deflection
