Thank you for your interest in Heka & Ma’at Seminary.
In the Seminary, you are given a grand opportunity to study a variety of magickal topics and subjects
within a safe, zero-tolerance enforced environment. You are encouraged to take this time to
contemplate where you are wishing your studies to take you, what you wish your focus to be while
within the Seminary.
Within this document, you will see a list of all of the courses offered here. Please take notice when you
are selecting your courses as to whether there are prerequisites for the course(s) you are interested in
studying. If you are taking courses individually rather than as a Degree Program Student, you must
receive application approval before the course can become open to you.
Some courses may require a separate textbook. If you are having issues purchasing the necessary text,
please reach out to your instructor as accommodations may be made based on your situation.

and office use.
The course code looks like “X###”, which states the level and department of study.
Types: I (intensive, year-long course), E (elective), M (mandatory, usually only for an elective), C (core,
mandatory academic course)

Associates= two-year program, freshman in year one, sophomore in year two
Bachelors= four-year program, junior in year three, senior in year four
Masters= five-year program, academic in year five

Introduction to the Olde Time Religion (P101IC)

This is a required course for all incoming students. Potentials will also be utilizing this course as their
introductory course. In this intensive, students will learn the basic foundations of Paganism within the
Mother Temple.
Introduction to Silence in Magick (M101ME)

This is a required elective for all freshmen. This is an introductory course to meditation and techniques
associated therein.
Introduction to the Sabbatical Year (P103IC)

Textbook(s): Celebrate the Earth: A Year of Holidays in the Pagan Tradition by Laurie Cabot
This is an intensive course required for either freshmen or sophomores. Throughout this course,
students will be learning of the eight holy days based on the Pagan Wheel of the Year.
Introduction to the Vedic Chakras (M102C)

This is a required course for all sophomores, usually placed within their second semester. This course is
an introductory study into the seven main chakra points within the human body.
Pagan Ritual Composition (R101C)

This is a required course for all sophomores. In this course, students will learn the process of how to
create flowing rituals for solitaries and minor group rituals.
Pagan Ritual Leadership (R201C)

This is a required course for all sophomores. In this course, students will learn to lead, direct, and work
the group energy raised.

In this course, students are taught the cores of how to establish and lead a healthy, functioning Coven,
with specific chartered examples set through the Mother Temple.
