ALL the steps stated in the Installation Instructions must be followed correctly, otherwise it will make no sense to continue to follow this Quick Guide.

Please read this Quick Guide before operating the stove, so as to avoid personal injury or dama-ge to building parts or the product itself.

Overview menu

Usable buttons in the menu:

F1 / Start: Press when starting combustion and when refuelling with wood.

F2: Press and hold for manual use of the damper. (Press F1 to return to normal use).

+ / - : Press to select P1 - P2 - P3

Select / Change: Press to switch to a different menu overview.

F0 / Stop: Standby phase. The HAC unit is awaiting initiation of the next combustion cycle. Du-ring this phase, the damper is fully closed.

F?: A brief phase during which the HAC unit is waiting to switch to F0 or F1. During this phase, the damper is fully open.

F1: Start phase. After loading the stove, press ‘Start’ and light the fuel. This phase will then start.

F2: Start-up phase. During this phase, the HAC unit is waiting for the stove to heat up until it reaches the desired temperature. The HAC unit will then progress to the next phase. If the stove does not reach the desired temperature, the HAC status will switch to F5.

F3: Combustion phase. During this phase, the HAC unit will constantly adjust the damper to ensure that the combustion air flow is adapted to the heat level required (P1 – P2 – P3).

F4: Falling temperature phase. During this phase, the temperature in the wood-burning stove is falling and the damper will gradually open more and more to achieve the pre-set temperature. If the stove cannot reach this temperature, the damper will gradually close again and the system will move on to the next phase.

F5: Ember phase. At the start of this phase the HAC unit will emit an audio alarm signal to indi-cate that refuelling is required. After refuelling, remember to press the ‘Start’ button to initiate the desired combustion cycle once more. If you do nothing, the HAC unit will regulate the damper down to a minimum so as to burn off the remainder of the embers.

F6: Flue gas phase. In this phase, the HAC unit will open the damper to ensure that any resi-dual gases are burned off. The HAC unit will then close the damper completely and return to F0 / Stop.

1. Switch on the power supply to the HAC unit. The following screen will appear in the display.

2. Use Parameter Menu Level 1 to select the appropriate language.

To return to the menu above, press the ‘Select / Change’ button three times. Then press the ‘OK / Enter’ button. The number 0 will now start to flash. Press the ‘+’ button to change the number to ‘1’ and then press the ‘OK / Enter’ button to confirm. Press the ‘Select / Change’ button twice until ‘Language’ appears in the display (shown below).

Press the ‘OK / Enter’ button and the word ‘English’ will flash in the display. Press ‘+’ or ‘-’ until the language you require is flashing. Then press the ‘OK / Enter’ but-ton to confirm.

3. Use the overview below to select the correct ”Level” for your stove and chimney.

4. Go to Parameter Menu Level 4 to set the ”Level”.

Heta recommends establishing a chimney draught of approx. 12 Pa, as this will help you make the most of your wood-burning stove. If you are uncertain of the strength of the draught in your chimney, ask your local dealer or chimney sweep to measure it.

(If you select a different Level, the HAC unit will restart and return to the ‘Overview menu’).

Press the ‘Select / Change’ button until the Parameter Menu is displayed. Then press ‘OK’ and the number 0 will flash in the display. Press ‘+’ until the number 4 appears, flashing. Press ‘OK’ to confirm. Press the ‘Select / Change’ button once and ‘Product no.’ will appear in the display.

Press the ‘OK’ button and ‘Version L3’ will start to flash. Then use the ‘+’ or ‘-’ but-ton to select the appropriate Level. Press ‘OK’ to confirm

( The HAC unit will then restart at the ”Level” selected)

After you have entered these settings, the HAC unit is ready for use.

Everyday use of HAC5. Load the stove with the correct amount of fuel, following the ‘Top-down’ principle* ( See the operating instructions for your wood-burning stove to check the recommended amount of fuel. )

6. Press the ‘Start’ button on the HAC unit. (See the explanation of the buttons in the overview menu).

7. Light the fuel in the wood-burning stove and close the door.

8. The first combustion cycle has now started. When it is time to add fuel, the HAC unit will sound an audio alarm in the form of a sound/tone. Select ‘refuelling’ or allow the HAC unit ensure that the wood-burning stove continues operating in the correct phase. (See the explanation of the various phases under ‘Overview menu’)

9. If you wish to start a new combustion cycle, go to point 5 above.10. In addition to using this Quick Guide, Heta recommends that you refer to the operating manual for your wood-burning stove.

*Top Down principle

A: Place two pieces of wood in the bottom of the stove.(approx. 500 g each).

B: For the next layer, use 3–4 pieces of wood approx. 30 x 30 mm thick.

C: Then cover with 2–4 layers of kindling (pieces of wood approx. 15 x 15 mm thick) as required.

D: Then light from the top, using an ignition bag if necessary.

Heta A/S strongly recommends that you do not change the settings on these two levels unless you have received the relevant training, as this can result in incorrect set-up and use of the HAC unit which – as a worst-case scenario – may result in a risk of flue gas explosion and the like.

Menù principale

Tasti utilizzabili sul menù:

F1 / Avvio Premere Avvio per ini-ziare la combustione e per l’inseri-mento di nuova legna.

F2: Premere e tenere premuto per la regolazione manuale della farfalla dell’aria. (premere F1 per tornare all’utilizzo normale).

+ / -: Premere per selezionare P1 - P2 - P3

Selezione / cambia: Premere per passare a un’altra finestra del menù.

F0 / Stop: Fase di standby HAC attende l’accensione del successivo ciclo di combustione. In questa fase la farfalla dell’aria è interamente chiusa.

F?: Fase breve in cui HAC attende di passare a F0 o a F1. In questa fase la farfalla dell’aria è inte-ramente aperta.

F1: Fase di accensione Dopo l’inserimento della legna si clicca su ”Start” e si accende la legna. Dopo di ciò, la fase si avvia.

F2: Fase di avviamento In questa fase HAC attende che la temperatura nella stufa aumenti, fino al raggiungimento della temperatura desiderata. HAC passa quindi alla fase successiva. Se ciò non avviene, HAC passa a F5.

F3: Fase di comustione In questa fase HAC regola costantemente la farfalla dell’aria, in modo che l’aria di combustione sia adeguata alla potenza richiesta (P1, P2, P3).

F4: Fase di caduta di temperatura In questa fase la temperatura nella stufa scende e la farfalla dell’aria viene gradualmente aperta per raggiungere nuovamente la temperatura preimpostata. Se ciò non avviene, la farfalla dell’aria viene gradualmente chiusa per passare poi alla fase succes-siva.

F5: Fase di spegnimento delle braci Quando inizia questa fase, HAC invia un allarme sonoro per avvertire che è tempo di inserire nuova legna. Se viene inserita la legna, ricordarsi di premere il tasto ”Start” per riavviare il ciclo di combustione desiderato. Se non si interviene, HAC regola la farfalla dell’aria al minimo, per ottenere la combustione ottimale delle braci rimanenti.

F6: Fase dei fumi In questa fase HAC apre la farfalla dell’aria per assicurarsi che i fumi rimanenti siano interamente combusti. In seguito, HAC chiude la farfalla dell’aria e passa alla fase F0 / Stop.

1. Accendere HAC. Sul display appare la seguente schermata.

2. Impostare la lingua desiderata tramite il Menù parametri, Livello 1.

Per aprire questo menù, premere il tasto Selezione / cambia 3 volte. Premere quin-di il tasto ”Ok / Invio”. Il numero 0 lampeggia. Premere il tasto ”+” finché appare 1, confermare con il tasto ”Ok / Invio”. Premere 2 volte il tasto Selezione / cambia in modo che sul display appaia ”Lingua” (vedere sotto).

Premere il tasto ”Ok / Invio”, ”Inglese” lampeggia sul display. Premere il tasto ”+” o ”-” finché la lingua desiderata lampeggia. Confermare con il tasto ”Ok / Invio”.

3. Selezionare il ”Livello” corretto per la stufa e la canna fumaria secondo la tabella sotto.

Heta consiglia di avere un tiraggio di circa 12 Pa per ottenere la massima efficienza della stufa. In caso di dubbi, rivolgersi al termotecnico o al rivenditore locale per effettuare la misurazione del tiraggio della canna fumaria.

(Selezionando un ”Livello” diverso, HAC si riavvierà e aprirà il ”Menù principale”.)

Premere il tasto ”Selezione / cambia” finché appare il Menù parametri. Premere quindi il tasto ”Ok”, il numero 0 lampeggia sul display. Premere il tasto ”+” finché il numero 4 lampeggia sul display. Confermare con ”Ok”. Premere una volta il tasto ”Selezione / cambia”, sul display appare ”N. prodotto”.

Premere il tasto ”Ok”, ”Versione L3” lampeggia. Selezionare quindi il Livello corretto con il tasto ”+” o ”-”. Confermare con ”Ok”.

( HAC si riavvierà con il ”Livello” impostato )

Dopo queste impostazioni HAC è pronto all’uso.

Utilizzo quotidiano di HAC5. Inserire la giusta quantità di combustibile secondo il principio Top / Down* ( per la quantità consigliata per il vostro modello di stufa, fare riferimento alle istruzioni per l’uso della stufa. )

6. Premere il tasto ”Start” su HAC. ( vedere la spiegazione dei tasti nel menù principale )

7. Accendere la legna nella stufa e chiudere lo sportello.

8. Si è ora avviato il primo ciclo di combustione. Quando è ora di inserire nuova legna, HAC emetterà un allarme sonoro/cicalino. Scegliere di inserire nuova legna oppure lasciare che HAC faccia continuare la fase alla stufa. ( vedere la spiegazione delle fasi nel menù principale )

9. Se si desidera un nuovo ciclo di combustione, passare al punto 5 sotto.

10. Oltre all’uso di questa Guida rapida, Heta consiglia anche di seguire le istruzioni per l’uso della stufa.

*Top Down principio

A: Mettere 2 ceppi sul fondo della stufa (circa 500 g ciascuno)

B: Mettere 3-4 legni di circa 30x30 mm di spessore sopra i primi.

C: Aggiungere 2-4 strati di legnetti per l’accensione di circa 15x15 mm di spessore, secondo la necessità.

D: Accendere quindi dall’alto, usan-do se necessario dei blocchetti per l’accensione

Overzichtsmenu

Beschikbare knoppen in het menu:

F1/Start: Indrukken om de verbranding te starten en na het bijvullen van hout.

F2: Ingedrukt houden voor handma-tig gebruik van het luchtventiel. (Druk op F1 om terug te keren naar normaal gebruik.)

+ / - : Indrukken om P1 - P2 - P3 te kiezen

Selecteren/wijzigen: Indrukken om naar een ander menuoverzicht te gaan.

F0 / Stop: Stand-byfase. De HAC wacht op het opstarten van de volgende verbrandingscyclus. In deze fase is de uitlaatklep volledig gesloten.

F?: Een kortlopende fase waarin de HAC wacht op overgang op F0 of F1. In deze fase is de uitla-atklep volledig geopend.

F1: Startfase. Na het aanvullen van brandhout moet op ’Start’ worden gedrukt en moet het brandhout worden aangestoken. Hierna start deze fase.

F2: Opstartfase. In deze fase wacht de HAC op het stijgen van de temperatuur in de kachel tot-dat de gewenste temperatuur is bereikt. Hierna gaat de HAC over op de volgende fase. Indien dit niet gebeurt, gaat de HAC over op F5.

F3: Verbrandingsfase. In deze fase reguleert de HAC voortdurend de uitlaatklep, zodat de ver-brandingslucht wordt aangepast aan de gewenste stand (P1 - P2 - P3).

F4: Temperatuurdalingsfase. In deze fase daalt de temperatuur in de houtkachel en wordt de uitlaatklep geleidelijk verder geopend om de vooraf bepaalde temperatuur te bereiken. Indien deze temperatuur niet wordt bereikt, wordt de uitlaatklep hierna geleidelijk verder gesloten, en gaat de kachel over op de volgende fase.

F5: Uitgloeiingsfase. Wanneer deze fase wordt gestart, geeft de HAC een alarmsignaal weer als indicatie dat het aanvullen van brandhout gewenst is. Als het hout wordt aangevuld, moet op de Start-knop worden gedrukt om de gewenste verbrandingscyclus opnieuw te starten. Als het hout niet wordt aangevuld, sluit de HAC de uitlaatklep zo ver mogelijk om de resterende houtskolen uit te laten branden.

F6: Rookgasfase. In deze fase opent de HAC de uitlaatklep om ervoor te zorgen dat restgassen worden afgebrand. Vervolgens sluit de HAC de uitlaatklep volledig en gaat de HAC over op F0 / Stop.

1. Schakel de HAC in. De volgende schermafbeelding wordt weergegeven op de display.

2. Stel de gewenste taal in via Parametermenu Niveau 1.

U bereikt dit menu door 3 keer op de knop Selecteren/wijzigen te drukken. Druk vervolgens op de knop OK/Enter. Het cijfer 0 knippert. Druk op de knop + zodat een 1 wordt weergegeven en bevestig met de knop OK/Enter. Druk 2 keer op de knop Selecteren/wijzigen zodat ”Language” wordt weergegeven op de display (zie afbeelding hieronder).

Druk op de knop OK/Enter. Op de display knippert ”English”. Druk op de knop + of - totdat de gewenste taal knippert. Bevestig met de knop OK/Enter.

3. Selecteer met behulp van het onderstaande overzicht het juiste ”Level” (niveau) voor uw kachel en schoorsteen.

4. Stel het ”Level” in via Parametermenu Niveau 4.

Heta raadt een schoorsteentrek van circa 12 Pa aan, omdat u daarmee uw houtkachel op-timaal benut. Vraag uw lokale dealer of schoorsteenveger om de trek in uw schoorsteen te meten als u daaraan twijfelt.

(Als u een ander ”Level” kiest, wordt de HAC opnieuw gestart en wordt het Overzichtsmenu weergegeven. )

Druk op de knop Selecteren/wijzigen totdat het Parametermenu wordt weergegeven. Druk vervolgens op OK. Er knippert een 0 op de display. Druk op + totdat het cijfer 4 knipperend wordt weergegeven. Bevestig met OK. Druk 1 keer op de knop Selecte-ren/wijzigen. Het productnummer wordt weergegeven op de display.

Druk op de knop OK. ”Version L3” knippert. Selecteer vervolgens het juiste ”Level” met de knop + of -. Bevestig met OK.

(De HAC wordt nu opnieuw gestart met het geselecteerde ”Level”.)

Met deze instellingen is de HAC klaar voor gebruik.

Dagelijks gebruik van de HAC5. Vul de kachel met de juiste hoeveelheid brandhout volgens het top-downprincipe* ( Voor de aanbevolen hoeveelheid brandhout voor uw houtkachel raadpleegt u de gebruik saanwijzing van uw houtkachel. )

6. Druk op de knop ”Start” op de HAC. (Zie de beschrijving van de knoppen in het overzichtsmenu)

7. Steek het brandhout in de houtkachel aan en sluit de deur.

8. De eerste verbrandingscyclus wordt nu gestart. Bij het bijvullen van brandhout geeft de HAC een alarm in de vorm van een geluid/toon. Selecteer de optie voor bijvullen of laat de HAC ervoor zorgen dat de houtkachel doorgaat in de juiste fase. (Zie de beschrijving van de fasen in het overzichtsmenu)

9. Als u een nieuwe verbrandingscyclus wilt starten, gaat u naar punt 5 hierboven.

10. Naast deze Snelgids verwijst Heta ook naar de gebruiksaanwijzing voor uw houtkachel.

* Top-downprincipe

A: Leg 2 stukken brandhout op de bodem van de kachel (ca. 500 gram per stuk).

B: Leg 2-4 dunnere stukken hout met een dikte van ca. 30x30 mm in de volgende laag.

C: Leg vervolgens 2-4 lagen aan-maakhoutjes met een dikte van ca. 15x15 mm in de kachel, naar gelang de behoefte.

D: Steek het hout vervolgens aan vanaf de top. Gebruik eventueel een aanmaakzakje.

Parameter Niveau 2 - 3 is uitsluitend bedoeld voor daarvoor opgeleide dealers.

Heta A/S raadt u ten zeerste aan de instellingen van deze twee niveaus niet te wij-zigen tenzij u hiervoor bent opgeleid, omdat wijzigingen kunnen leiden tot onjuiste instelling en onjuist gebruik van de HAC, wat in het uiterste geval bijvoorbeeld een rookgasexplosie tot gevolg kan hebben.

92 Toegangscode 0000...9999 0000 Met 0000 is de HAC niet beveiligd met een wachtwoord.Als een ander getal wordt weergegeven, wordt er een wachtwoord ingevoerd of opgeslagen op de HAC.
