HOW WE CAN GET LIGHT AUTOMATICALLY

There is a spring loaded key below the track. Now, as the train enters in to the tunnel, the weight of the train pushes the key and the circuit gets completed which lights up the tunnel.

ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR

NEED OF ESP :-In the case of long tunnel, problem of insufficientvisibility is sometimes caused by diesel engine. To keep driver’s visibility,electrostatic precipitator (ESP) has been installed in by-pass tunnel of the main tunnel.

HOW IT WORKS :-

First, the smoke generated by engine is drawn in to the by pass tunnel. As this smoke contains harmful particulates, ESP purifies it and pass to auxiliary m/c room where further purifying process is done and this sends the smoke to air duct and finally a purified air is discharged through induced draft fan
