The HVTN Initiatives Program (HIP) is designed to support novel investigator-driven research proposals within the scope of the HVTN research agenda using HVTN-procured specimens, clinical, laboratory, and/or behavioral data, as well as pilot proposals. This mechanism will fund studies led by HVTN-affiliated investigators that are exploratory in nature, ground-breaking, or extend previous HIV vaccine discoveries toward new directions. HVTN intends to fund up to four proposals up to $75,000 for one year.
Letters of Intent are due 5 April 2017, and proposals are due 31 May 2017.
