Dealing with pressure:
Relaxation techniques
Nutrition & sleep!
Positivity/perspective
Simple relaxation technique:
1. Close your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply2. Locate any areas of tension and try to relax those
muscles; imagine the tension disappearing3. Relax each part of the body, from your feet to the top
of your head4. As you focus on each part of your body, think of
warmth, heaviness and relaxation5. After 20 minutes, take some deep breaths and stretch
Dealing with pressure:
Positivity/perspectiveOur Kronos team is always here to help
too!
Give exams perceived as particularly difficult a silly name to take away
some of the tension
Break down feelings of being overwhelmed by ‘too much to
do’ into simple steps and priorities
Sportspeople often use visualisation – imagine a positive
situation Call it ‘exam training’ rather than
revision!
Stay focused on solutions – to
manage this I will..
