OnSaturday,January14,2012,aconvocationforlayassociatesfromsixteenreligiousorderswasheldattheCathedraloftheIncarnationinNashville,Tennessee.Over250representativesfromtheKentuckyandTennesseeareawereinattendanceincludingtheCommunityofPassionistPartners.ManythankstotheCPPcommunityinNashvilleforalltheirhardworktomakethisweekendasuccess.

ThemorningkeynotewasbyFr.StephenWolffwhospokeonthediscerningofGod’sinone’slife.TheafternoonkeynotewasbyDonSeniorwhogaveanexcellentmotivationaltalktobringouttherelationshiptoJesusthattheScripturesrevealinJesus’outreachtothepeopleofhistime.

OnSundaymorning,ArthurCarrillocelebratedthe8:30MassatStStephen’sCatholicCommunityinOldHickory,Tennessee.ItisintheEucharisticchapelofthisparishthattheLimpiasCrucifixfromthestairwellatImmaculateConceptionCommunityinChicagowasinstalled.DuringthehomilyArthurexplainedthedevotionaland“miraculous”aspectsoftheoriginalLimpiasCrucifixandhowitwasthefocusofprayerforPassionistsinChicagoforalmostahundredyears.

OnJanuary29,HolyNameCommunitycelebratedthebeginningoftheResidencyProgramforAntonioAquino,GlennBisquera,JuanGonzalezandDavidKojak.TheceremonytookplaceinHolyName’sChapel.APassionistmedalandtheBookofChristianPrayerweregiventoeachofthecandidates.Therewereaboutfiftyfamilyandfriendsofthesemenandthecommunitywhocametowitnesstheevent.Itwasaremarkable,wonderfulcelebration.
