Note: With wide rows of over 4 rows per net, a wider net will be required due to the draping of the nets between rows, therefore allow an additional 3 metres to 'Step 3' above.

CALCULATING LENGTHSStep 1: Measure length of row from Anchor point to Anchor Point.

Note: If the ends of the row(s) are at an angle on one or both ends i.e. not a square net block, take the longest length between the first row of the net block and the end point of the longest row at the opposite end. If this is not calculated correctly, it is likely the net will not reach the end of the angled rows and therefore not provide full protection. It is better to be generous to ensure 100% protection of your crop.

FORMULA FOR CALCULATION OF MULTI ROW BIRD NETS IN VINEYARDS

Multi row nets for vineyards need to fit the rows well with full coverage down to the ground on both sides and ends. It's far better to be generous on sizing than to have nets too tight or too short – as ill-fitting netting is the same as having

no protection at all.

Weed Matting reduces erosion, evaporation and herbicide use while encouraging earthworms and boosting soil microbe activity. Over time, our spunbond biodegrades to a non-toxic

soluble dust.

FABRIC CLIPSEmpak Fabric Clips come in black and are used to fix reinforced net edges or eyelets onto wires or posts. The clips are simply pushed through the fabric and pressed closed for a secure grip. They come in both a lockable version for permanent structures, and a re-useable version for temporary netting. Empak Fabric Clips come in a box of 100pc and are suited to most nets in our range.

D CLIPSEmpak D Clips fix through the eyelets of reinforced nets and are used to connect nets to wire. They are available in boxes of 200pc in black and are suitable for Empak birdsafe nets.

WEEDMATPINSEmpak Weedmat Pins are polypropylene pegs available in either 17cm lengths in black and come in a box of 200pc. They are used for easy fixing of ground control fabrics such as our weedsafe and weedsafe pro.

GROUND STAPLE PINS Galvanised high tensile zinc to prevent rust and ideally shaped for ease of application, Empak ground staples are available in either 13cm or 23cm lengths in packs of 20 or 200 packs.

STORAGE BAGSFor secure storage of drape or multirow bird netting, Empak offer heavy duty storage bags made from shade cloth with drawstrings or custom made with reinforced straps and handles. These can be bought as stock items or you can have your custom length nets pre-packed and delivered in the bags.* If you need storage bags for a special size or for a certain application, please contact us with your requirement.

PRICING:All pricing is quoted Excluding GST and Freight.

FREIGHT:An additional Freight component of $25.00 will be charged on all orders received where the total value does not exceed $750 (excluding GST).

PAYMENT:Payment of goods supplied is due on the 20th day of the month following the invoice date unless by prior written agreement.Interest at 3% per month will be charged at the sole discretion of Empak Distribution (The Supplier) on all outstanding amounts that have not been settled by the 7th day following the due date for payment.

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS:Risk in any goods supplied by Empak Distribution to the customer shall pass when such goods are delivered to the customer or into custody on the customer’s behalf, but ownership in such goods is retained by Empak Distribution until payment is made for the goods and for all other goods supplied by Empak Distribution to the customer.Empak Distribution or a representative shall be allowed to enter the customer’s premises for the purpose of recovering goods supplied for which payment in full has not been made.If such goods are sold by the customers prior to payment therefore then the proceeds of sale thereof shall be the property of Empak Distribution.

RETURNS:No goods will be accepted for return unless previously arranged with Empak Distribution. A minimum handling charge of 10% of the value of the goods supplied shall be charged on all returns not occasioned by the error or omission of this company or its representative’s.

CLAIMS:Under the ‘Carriage of Goods’ Act all claims for loss or damage to goods must be made on the ‘Carrier’ within 7 days from the date of delivery. No deduction on creditors or replacements will be allowed without Empak Distribution’s prior written notice.

WARRANTIES:Except to the extent of specific written warranties given by us to you, no guarantee is given or implied on goods supplied. All warranties, all conditions, statutory or otherwise, as to quality or fitness for any purposes are hereby expressly excluded.

INCONSISTENT TERMS OF TRADE:Where it is alleged that the goods are supplied under different terms the terms described herein shall prevail unless the alleged terms of supply are expressed in writing.
