Teo Morca: A Life of Dance - The Maestro shared fascinating experiences, anecdotes

and reflections from a lifetime as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer in anart form that has permeated every aspect of his life. A Master Dancer, Morca is the

subject of documentaries, publications and interviews all over the world.

Katherine Rudisill, Ph. D. presented A Correlation to Texas History, an exposof the growth of the Spanish culture focusing on dance, literature, religion and

language from the 8th to the 15th century and its cultural and historical transmission

to the Texas region. Dr. Rudisill is Professor of History at San Jacinto College South.

Carmen Amaya and Sabicas... Already a Century? Veteran flamenco guitarist Julio delos Reyes presented an insight to two of flamenco's most impacting figures, the

legendary dancer Carmen Amaya and the great Sabicas, master of the flamenco andSpanish guitar. Audiences enjoyed an extraordinary opportunity to hear anecdotes from

a fellow artist and friend of Carmen and Sabicas.
