HOW DID HUMANS DIRECTLY IMPACT

THEIR ENVIRONMENT

In this power point you will learn about my talent 21 project. My topic is How did Humans impact their environment? This will start from the day the Glacier Age end. The ending with the famous Romans. Now sit back and enjoy the show!

INTRO

1. Start to clear woods

2. Hunt and gather animals

3. People built rock wall, getting the rocks from the ocean shallows

AFTER THE GLACIER AGE

1. Started Fires that means forest fires started.

2. They used dried mud and tree branches to built shelters.

3. They hunted giant sloths, saber-toothed cat, and mammoths and then these animals became extinct.

EARLY MAN

1. They did irrigation

2. They started to domesticate plants and animals

3. They clear trees to do slash-and –burn farming

EARLY FRAMERS

1. Irrigation had to be used

2. Made building out of mud

3. They dig in the ground to get copper and bronze

MESOPOTAMIA

1. Egypt affect the environment by building simple irrigation ditches

2. Then they built dams & dikes

3. Finally they had to get marble from the pyramids they had to dig lot`s of dirt to get the marble.

EGYPT

1. They raised animals such as sheep, goats, and pigs

2. Mad jars from clay in the earth.

3. Made weapons by metal in the earth like copper and tin.

GREECE

1. They raised cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs then less animals in the wild

2. Build roads for the Roman empire

3. Kill animals in the colosseum.

ROME
