INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Cengage-Hosted Emerge. This document will show the students the step by step procedure to access the Emerge product directly via Cengage Brain. It also has minimum system requirements to use Emerge with Computers.

STUDENT ACCESS

Once you know which version of Emerge you need with the ISBN # provided by your instructor, you can get instant access online via Cengage Brain or at your institution’s bookstore.

• Adobe Reader is required to view Help and Concepts and Issues Projects • Adobe Flash is required to play YouTube and Skills Videos. • Microsoft Office 2010 is required for Skills Projects.

At least a 12 inch monitor and a resolution of 1024x768 is recommended for optimum viewing of Emerge. A smaller monitor and/or lesser resolution may require unusual scrolling horizontal and vertical scrolling in order to view all the content on a page.
