D. FAQ

1) What is AISG?

a. AISG is “Antenna Interface Standards Group”, it is refer to RET & TMA. RET is connect to antenna mechanically & allow us to tune downtilt for antenna remotely.

2) What if no RET device found after scan?

a. If the result show blank after 10-30mins scan. Please follow below steps to troubleshoot.

i. Check in OMCB, is the RET already configured? If it already configure in OMCB. No result will show.

ii. Check the RET model is not Katherine 86010045, which is currently not support by ZTE SDR. The model number can be found at the label on RET. Sample is shown as below:

iii. Check for the cable connection in between RET & RRU. Typically we have 2 scenario as below:

1. If RRU>20m from antenna

Page 11: How to Configure AISG With CMX OMCB v2.1

Note: NSBT & ASBT is not RET. These 2 devices are just Smart Bias Tee to combine the AISG signal to feeder.

2. RRU <20m from antenna
