HOW TO: TRADE WITH RETAILER PARTNERS Page 1 VISTA LETS YOU: Make vehicles available for transferring to other retailers. Locate vehicles that you can then request from other retailers via phone or email. Accept trades from other retailers once they’re made available. Some vehicles are not eligible for trading (for example, those that are marked sold to a customer). To make a vehicle available to transfer to another retailer: 1. Go to the Trade tab and select Make Order/Vehicle Available for Transfer. 2. Enter the Common Order Number, VIN (full 17 digits), or short VIN and click Search. (“Short VIN” is a nine-digit numerical series made up of the three-digit vehicle type [e.g., 134 for S60] followed by the six-digit chassis number.) 3. The vehicle details appear. Use the drop-down menu to find the retailer partner to whom you want to trade the vehicle.

VISTA LETS YOU: � Make vehicles available for transferring to other retailers.

� Locate vehicles that you can then request from other

retailers via phone or email.

� Accept trades from other retailers once they’re

made available.

Some vehicles are not eligible for trading

(for example, those that are marked sold to a customer).

To make a vehicle available to transfer to another retailer:

1. Go to the Trade tab and

select Make Order/Vehicle

Available for Transfer.

2. Enter the Common

Order Number, VIN

(full 17 digits), or

short VIN and click

Search. (“Short

VIN” is a nine-digit

numerical series

made up of the

three-digit vehicle

type [e.g., 134 for

S60] followed by

the six-digit chassis

number.)

3. The vehicle details appear. Use the drop-down menu to find the retailer partner to whom you want to

trade the vehicle.

4. Click Offer for

Transfer.

5. You’ll receive confirmation that the vehicle has been offered for trade. The partner has three days in

which to accept the trade.

To accept a trade from another retailer:

1. Click on the link on

your VISTA home

screen’s System

Messages that tells

you about the order

awaiting acceptance

— or go to the

Trade tab and

select

Orders/Vehicles

Awaiting

Acceptance.

2. On the

Orders/Vehicles

Awaiting

Acceptance page,

check the details on

the vehicle and then

choose the green

check mark under

Accept or the red X

under Reject.

pop-up.

Make sure that you accept trades within three days. If you accidentally accept a trade that you didn’t

mean to, you can offer to trade it back to the originating retailer.

To view all the vehicles that have been transferred to another retailer:

1. Go to the Trade

tab and select

Orders/Vehicles

Transferred Out

to see a screen

To view all the vehicles that have been transferred into your retailer from another retailer:

1. Go to the Trade

tab and select

Orders/Vehicles

Transferred In
