First, sign in to your YouTube account, and open your Google+ account from there.This helps to avoid connection problems.

From the drop-down menu on the leftchoose "Hangouts"

Select "Hangouts On Air" then "Create aHangout On Air"

Choose who you would like to invite to viewthe live streamIf you remove the "Public" option it will appear on YouTube as unlisted, not private.

If you want to broadcast a presentation, awebsite, or anything else, then leave them open in another window (not minimised) and choose Screenshare
