Innovation Center and IT Product Line

• A society's production activities cannot succeed without investment in factors of

production. With the advent of the digital economy era, data has become a new

production factor and a fundamental, strategic resource. Its value is demonstrated by

various industry cases, such as the Digital Dunhuang, intelligent coal mining, and

telemedicine.

• However, the digital economy cannot be built on a fragile foundation; it needs is strong

and reliable data infrastructure.

• Such infrastructure helps support data acquisition, storage, computing, management,

and use across the entire lifecycle. Acquisition: Aids understanding and awareness of

the industrial digital transformation journey. Storage: Provides enterprises with a

platform that allows data to flow freely from the edge to the cloud. Computing: Supports

intelligent computing and general-purpose diverse computing for data processing.

Management: Implements automatic management of data storage in all stages,

including planning, deployment, O&M, and optimization. Application: Cooperates with

industry partners to develop scenario-specific solutions.

Mass Data Storage — Decoupled Storage-Compute Big Data

Solution, File Resource Pool, and High-Density Hardware Mass Data Storage — Decoupled Storage-Compute Big

Data Solution

• Storage-compute decoupling greatly reduces the number of storage

nodes, driving down the TCO.

• Native HDFS does not require any modifications at the application

layer. Hot and cold data is automatically tiered based on data

properties. One storage system supports multi-protocol interworking

between file, object, and HDFS.

Mass Data Storage — High-Density Capacity Hardware

with 120 Disks

• 120 disks/5 U, 1.68 PB raw capacity per chassis

• Elastic EC with a ratio of 22+2 for 91.6% disk utilization

• Non-disruptive component replacement with bidirectional drawer slide

Mass Data Storage — File Resource Pool

• This solution supports system authentication interfaces (AD, NIS, and

LDAP), and common file access protocols (NFS, CIFS, FTP, and

NDMP). It offers various enterprise-class features such as tiering,

remote replication, and WORM, and manages alarms, logs, and

performance statistics on a unified management platform. It only takes

1 minute to get started and 3 minutes to become proficient at

managing mass file data.

Data Management — OneStorage

Why OneStorage

Pain points: low resource utilization, low management efficiency, and difficult multi-

cloud convergence

About OneStorage

On a converged data platform, storage resource pools are tiered into different levels

and intelligently managed, improving management efficiency by 5 times and reducing

TCO by 30%.

A unified framework and open APIs are used to implement convergence and

connection with multiple clouds

OneStorage Demo

Physical storage of a data center forms a unified resource pool.

Resource pools are tiered and data is stored in the optimal position.

Data moves on demand as the service level of the storage pool changes.

Multiple clouds are connected and cloud services are provisioned adaptively based on

SLA levels.

Data StorageData Management — DME

Display the real-world DME Storage system, show the device management, service provisioning, and O&M capabilities.

Emphasize that the DME can quickly locate hardware faults and proactively optimize software problems, and demonstrate the process using the following methods:

Simulate a hard disk failure. The DME promptly receives an alarm and

notifies the eService app on a mobile terminal. The eService instructs the

lab to replace the faulty hard disk. The alarm is cleared and the problem is

resolved.

The DME has provisioned services based on the service level. When the

service load is light and level is low, simulate a scenario where the service

load increases. As a result, the service latency will become too high and

the service level will automatically change to reduce the latency. This

demonstrates the proactive performance optimization process.

About ChengduTOURISM RESOURCES ABOUT CHENGDU

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province. It lies in the southwest of China, in the west of the Sichuan Basin

and at the center of the Chengdu plains, with a flat topography, river networks, rich products, developed

agriculture, and a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate. Chengdu has enjoyed the reputation of

being a "Country of Heaven" since ancient times.

Chengu is one of the ten great ancient capitals of China. Chengdu is a famous historical and cultural city and

has lots of tourism resources, such as Jinsha Ruins, Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Wuhou Shrine, and Du Fu

Thatched Cottage. Chengdu is one of China's Best Tourist Cities.

Sichuan embroidery, or Shu Xiu, originating from Chengdu, is a style of embroidery folk art native to Sichuan

and Chongqing. Along with Suzhou embroidery, Hunan embroidery, and Cantonese embroidery, Sichuan

embroidery is one of the well-known "Four Great" embroideries of China. Historical records show that the first

king of Shu Kingdom, Cancong, is famous for his skill in raising silkworms and producing silk. By the Western

Han Dynasty over 2,000 years ago, Sichuan Embroidery business had formed a considerable scale and

shown perfect craftsmanship.

A renowned center of gastronomy, Chengdu is the cradle and center of Sichuan cuisine, one of the four

references of Chinese cuisine. Sichuan cuisine is a style of Chinese cuisine originating from Sichuan

Province. It has bold flavors, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and

chili peppers, as well as the unique flavor of Sichuan pepper. Chengdu joined the Creative Cities Network in

2010 becoming the second UNESCO City of Gastronomy. Pixian Doubanjiang, or broad bean chili paste,

which is produced in Chengdu, is characteristically used in Sichuan cuisine, and has been called "the soul of

Sichuan cuisine.
