    Clars Foundationis a non prot organization whose aims are, ght against hearing loss andmedical cooperation in the Third World countries.

    Clars Foundation does a signicant work in emergent countries, and also appoints TrainingScholarships to Doctors, since 1997, with no nancial means. Among its aims, it offers nancialsupport to profound hearing loss patients of our country who have had gone under a cochlearimplant surgery, as well as offers training courses in Emergent countries of Eastern Europe,Asia, Africa and Latin America countries.

    Clars Foundationfor years, has been conducting its humanitarian program in the elds of au-diology, speech therapy, otorhinolaryngology, phoniatry and facial and oral surgery. This workhas been materialized in different expeditions to India, Romania, Moldavia, Ethiopia, Senegal,Liberia, Cameroon, Gabon, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan and soon, Gambia andGhana, together with the contribution in surgical and technology medical material in order toconduct operations to patients with no nancial means.

    As well, the Foundation makes donations and adapts hearing aids and some hearing implants

    to patients affected with hypoacusia.

    The humanitarian expedition which traveled to Sudan, Lybia and Romania, was headed by Dr.Pedro Clars. The next pages are a sample of these trips.

    Once more, these trips are a sample of the truly international character of the Clars Founda-tion.
