Hunt Lasercut have been in business since 1992, providing a versatile laser cutting service to a wide range of industries.

These include; shopfitting, architectural, automotive, marine, display, agricultural and commercial machinery, climate control systems, sheetmetal and general engineering.

In January 2015 we purchased our latest Bystronic Fibre Laser 4kW. This machine utilises the latest in fibre technology ensuring high quality products with very competitive lead times.

Hunt Lasercut can quote to supply your parts including material. We stock a wide range of Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Galvanised Sheet. We will also order specific materials such as Bisalloy, Brass, Copper and Shim.

We can fold, roll and fabricate your components and also arrange for coatings such as zinc plating, EDP, galvanising or powder coating.

Assist Gas Jet

Laser Cutting - The intense heat from the focused beam vaporizes a hole into the material. The pressure from a jet of assist gas helps to blow the molten material through the bottom and with relative motion a cut is produced.

WE CAN CUT A WIDE RANGE OF MATERIALS

INNOVATIVE AND EFFICIENT SOFTWARE FOR AUTOMATED NESTING

An integral part of our efficient cutting system is the use of our innovative programming software BySoft 7™. We can quickly program a single part or a fully automated nest of components.

Nesting enables us to achieve the maximum number of parts per sheet of material - thus eliminating unnecessary waste.

This saving is passed on to the customer, just email your .dxf or .dwg file to [email protected] or fax your drawing to (03) 9551 2120 and we will quote you promptly and competitively.

QUOTING AND PROGRAMMING

With our sheetmetal capabilities, we are able to supply complete components for our customers. We can have parts fabricated after laser cutting including folding and welding as well as countersinking and tapping of holes.

We can also assist in the development of your parts for fabrication and arrange for zinc plating, EDP, galvanising or powdercoating of components if required.

As part of our on-going commitment to our clients we also offer 4 state-of-art CNC Press Brakes to fold metal components to precise tolerances across any specifications. Press Brake operators are fully qualified and with over 50 years experience between them, they have expertise to manage all your folding needs. This precision and reliability in our folding improves productivity for our clients, it also gives us the

flexibility to develop prototypes as well as handle high volume work.Our CNC press brakes have the capability to fold material up to 3 metres long. With our computerised system in use, once a part has been programmed it is stored and can be recalled for ongoing repeat orders. We ensure our last part folded will be as high a quality as the first.
