PINK Campaign = Success! During the last two weeks of September and throughout October, Hyundai ran a PINK campaign in an effort to raise money for breast cancer research through the sale of custom shirts and wristbands. Our employees also participated in It's the Journey, Inc.'s 30-mile, 2-day walk with a B'Rest Stop.

This campaign was a huge success. In total, we sold 507 Construction Equipment and Forklift t-shirts and 982 Hyundai wristbands, and raised $10,994.

Thank you to all of our employees, and our wonderful dealer network. Special thanks to May Heavy Equipment, Rob's Hydraulics, Fort Wayne Material Handling, CFE Equipment, Four Seasons Equipment, Team Boone, Springer Equipment, Heavy Equipment Sales, Pennell Forklift Services, Modern Group, Bob Mark New Holland, and Diamond Equipment for providing their pictures, and for their special support.

We held our first annual Latin America Parts Conference October 26-27. Ten dealer representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean attended the event. The attendees heard from our president, MS Kang; SS Park from our parent company, HHI; Angela Williams from our Training departments; and Juan Camilo Betancur from Mercovil during their various breakout sessions. Our guests learned about and discussed the new ways HCEA and our dealers can better work together to promote the Hyundai brand. They also enjoyed a wonderful dinner filled with laughs and camaraderie at Stoney River Steakhouse. Overall, it was an educational and informative conference. All of our attendees appreciated the opportunity to assemble as a community. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Please join us in welcoming our newest dealer - Material Handling Products Corp. of East Syracuse, NY - to the Hyundai Forklift dealer family! A family-owned forklift dealer since 1953, MHP is dedicated to providing quality products and service support, with two locations in East Syracuse and Schenectady (Albany), NY, with coverage that extends from Binghamton, NY to Western Vermont.

Scott Minich, the President of MHP, had this to say about their recent appointment as a Hyundai dealer: “We chose Hyundai because of the strong name recognition, [it is] an excellent value proposition for upstate NY, and [we] feel Hyundai is rising in the industry. MHP is excited to play a role in what we feel will be a mutually beneficial relationship for both our companies for years to come.“

“We are pleased to have MHP on board with Hyundai as their primary forklift line,” said Chuck Leone, Hyundai VP of Forklift. He added, “The Syracuse and Albany markets have been vacant and Scott’s group will give us representation in upstate New York, where we have also recently shipped Hyundai forklifts for one of our national accounts.”
