Tool # 6 ~ Whatever things are LovelyI. Lovely Greek word

prosphilē. Towards Philē (Philadelphia).A. Meaning – Lit. “Towards friendly”. Lovely in sense of loving.B. “Think about” being friendly. C. Think about things that build relationships.

II. Proverbs 18:24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

A. You need to be genuinely friendly, the golden rule- Matthew 7:12.B. Sowing and reaping in friendship (Galatians 6:7-9).C. St Basil (Contemporary of Athanasius) “They who sow courtesy reap

1. Easter egg hunt on Sunday to bring people into church. That has always been the purpose; to bring people to the Risen Christ.

2. Baptism which illustrates the resurrected life.3. Children’s ministry is the church of TODAY.4. Sandwiches, snacks for make new people comfortable so you can

welcome them.D. Your part…

1. Invite those who don’t regularly attend church to come.2. Focus on welcoming new people (skit?)
