At the end we sang Happy Birthday to Riley because it was his birthday. The canteen had lots of food, drinks and glow sticks.

Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients:

1 can sweetened condensed milk

2 cups crushed biscuits

1 cup coconut

Extra coconut for rolling

Method:

1. Mix biscuits, cocoa and coconut altogether.

2. Add sweetened condensed milk.

3. Mix altogether.

4. Shape teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls.

5. Roll into coconut.

6. Refrigerate to set.

Milo Biscuits

Ingredients:

125g butter

¾ cup caster sugar

1 egg

1½ cups S.R Flour

½ cup Milo

Method:

1. Pre-heat oven to 180⁰C or fan-forced 160⁰C

2. Beat butter and sugar together.

3. Add egg and beat all together.

4. Stir in flour and milo.

5. Roll mixture in teaspoonfuls and place on a tray.

6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

Lemonade Scones

Ingredients:

3 Cups S.R. Flour

1 Cup Cream

1 Cup Lemonade

Method:

1. Preheat Oven to 200⁰C

2. Combine flour, cream and lemonade in a bowl. The dough will be stickey.

3. Mix altogether.

4. Turn on a floured surface. Gently pat down to 2.5cm thickness.

5. Place on greased tray slightly touching each other.

6. Brush tops lightly with milk.

7. Bake for 12 to 15minutes.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

125 grams butter

½cup Brown Sugar

½cup Sugar

½teaspoon vanilla

Method:

1. Cream butter and sugar.

2. Add lightly beaten egg.

3. Mix in sifted flour.

4. Stir in chocolate chips and crushed nuts.

5. Mix well.

6. Shape teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls.

7. Place on a lightly greased tray.

8. Bake in a moderate oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

1 ¾ Cup S.R Flour

1 cup Chocolate Chips

½ cup crushed nuts

1 egg

Hundreds And Thousands Cookies

Ingredients:

• 125g Butter (softened)

• 1/2 cup Sugar

• 1/2 cup Icing Sugar

• 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence

• 1 Egg Yolk

• 2 1/4 cups Self Raising Flour

• 1/3 cup Milk

• Hundreds and Thousands

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180⁰C.

2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Add icing sugar, vanilla and egg yolk and beat well.

4. Stir in sifted flour and milk.

5. Mix altogether and shape teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls.

6. Place hundreds and thousands into a bowl.

7. Dip each ball into the hundreds and thousands.

8. Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden

brown.
