All participants understand that the written SSAagreement is subject to negotiation and must be approved before a NOGA can be issued.

List up to three quantifiable needs, as identified in your needs assessment, that these program funds will address. Describeyour plan for addressing each need.

Quantifiable Need Plan for Addressing Need

According to BLS, the availability of IT jobs is projected Develop dynamic, integrated academic & technical curriculum, implementto grow by 17% through 2022; further, EMSI data for programs of study in the areas of Information Technology and CybersecunitySan Antonio region states IT jobs are projected to identified by Workforce Solutions Alamo as high-demand occupations, becomeincrease by 4,032 (12%) from 2018-2023. Demand for the leader of these career training programs within the San Antonio region, andskilled llworkforce continues to outpace the supply. increase the pipeline of skilled workers trained to meet industry needs.

TX IT Cluster Assessment identified concerns with Articulate programs of study between educational partners to supportdeclining STEM in K-i 2 education. There is a significant gap in the Technology field across The Texas Regional Pathways Network will ensure that the districts partnersbusiness and government sectors, and the availability obtain approval as an authorized Pearson VUE Test Center in order for studentsof a high-level technical skilled workforce. The to have maximum access to resources (study guides, test prep, etc.) anddemand continues to outpace the supply. opportunity to acquire their IT certifications, while also minimizing costs.

MfloaIDescribe the summative SMART goal you have identified for this program (a goal that is Specific, Measurable, Achievable,Relevant, and Timely), either related to student outcome or consistent with the purpose of the grant.

The summative goal of this program is, by Spring of 2020:> have built capacity for all Texas Regional Pathways Network school district partners to implement programs of study inthe high-wage, in-demand career fields of Information Technology and Cybersecurfty> hire and/or train highly-qualified teachers> develop curriculum that includes integrated academic-technical content and industry-standard knowledge and skills> offer students multiple opportunities to acquire stackable certifications> provides access to accelerated higher education in similar programs with multiple entry and exit points
