360° full circle burnerThe cylindrical burner in the Condair GShas flame uniformly around its entiresurface. This maximises the thermaltransfer to the heat exchangerresulting in a thermal efficiency of over90%.
The humidifier therefore reacts veryquickly to a requirement forhumidification whilst minimising gasconsumption and emissions. Steamoutput can also be consistentlycontrolled from outputs as low as10kg/hr.
Low maintenanceThe stainless steel heat exchanger haslarge flat surfaces that dislodge scaleduring operation. This scale falls to thebottom of the water tank where it iseither removed by the heavy-dutypumped drain or is emptied duringservicing. The large flat surfaces of the
heat exchanger make it easy to removewhat little scale is left behind. Also, asthe heat exchanger remains mostlyscale-free, the efficiency of heattransfer to the water is maximised.
Scale managementTo reduce scale build-up in the boilingchamber, a low volume of fresh water iscontinually added and high mineralcontent water removed. This not onlydecreases scale build-up but improveshumidity control when compared toother gas-fired humidifiers, whichoccasionally stop steam productionand run a complete tank drain tocombat scale.
Before being sent to drain, waste wateris cooled to minimise stress onpipework.

On-board controllerThe Condair GS incorporates a state-of-the-art controller with a backlit LCDdisplay. It has a continuous self-diagnostic feature with self-correctionand fail-safe operation. An on-screentrouble shooting feature walks the userthrough corrective processes that canavoid the expense of an engineer call-out.
Other features include on-screenindication of service and fault historyas well as humidity demand trends.
Up to ten Condair GS humidifiers canbe chained together providing a hugepotential output of up to 2,400kg/hr.
