1. Pathological Specimen

• This is a living tissue taken from the diseased part or a part from an organ.

The specimen should:1. Not be crushed.2. Not be lift dry.3. Put in a proper container to be

fully immersed in preservative solution. Usually formalin on a plastic container is used.
