IDAHO FAMI-ly Connection March 2015 News You Can Use: We want your Agri-Range business! Like us on Facebook! In order to keep Agri-Range as the leader in coverages offered, we’ve made several changes to the AR PLUS (Agri-Range enhancement endorsement). This can be added to all new and renewal Agri-Range policies with effective dates of 4-1-2015 and later. With the change, there are many increases in limits, plus completely new coverages, included with this change. We have a great flyer that summarizes the coverages, and shows the changes. Some of the “big” selling points include: •Increased limit for Newly Acquired Machinery •Increased limit on Rented or Borrowed Machinery •110% of Scheduled Value for Machinery < 5 years of age •$10,000 for Unharvested Grain •Portable GPS (named perils) •Identity Fraud Expense •Replacement Cost on Well Pumps These coverages would cost more than $3,000 if purchased individually. The bundled approach allows much more coverage at a great price. The cost for Option 1 increases from $150 to $200, but Option 2 remains the same at $50. The Miscellaneous coverages will continue to be included at no charge, when you buy either or both Options. The AR PLUS will automatically be included on every new quote you offer beginning 4-1- 2015. Also, these new limits and enhanced coverages will be automatically updated at renewal for your customers that already have the AR PLUS. If you’d like to add this to your Agri-Range policies at renewal, we can help! See our letter of 3-23-2015 for details, or call the Marketing Department. We’re excited about the changes to AR PLUS, and want to make it easy for you get this to your customers. And we’ve got lower rates to prove it! As we told you in our letter of March 13th, effective immediately, we are offering a 10% new business discount on all new Agri-Range business. Until this is included in COMPASS, you can manually apply the new business discount while you are quoting by checking the IRPM box and applying -10% IRPM (quote screen 7.2). Since this is a new business discount, it will gradually be reduced over the next several terms (we’ll take care of that -- you won’t need to do anything additional). The new business discount will be in addition to any other discount the account may qualify for, including up to an additional 15% for the Early Submission Discount.. Also, if you write Commercial Auto with the Agri-Range, we may be able to apply a new business discount to that portion of the policy as well. Once you have completed the Commercial Auto quote in COMPASS, check with your Underwriter to see if the new business discount applies. As always, you’ll receive the multi-policy discount on the Commercial Auto business, and on the Agri-Range portion! If you have any questions, contact your Underwriter or Marketing Representative.

Some of the “big” selling points include:•IncreasedlimitforNewlyAcquiredMachinery•IncreasedlimitonRentedorBorrowedMachinery•110%ofScheduledValueforMachinery<5yearsofage•$10,000forUnharvestedGrain•PortableGPS(namedperils)•IdentityFraudExpense•ReplacementCostonWellPumps

These coverages would cost more than $3,000 if purchased individually. The bundled approach allows much more coverage at a great price. The cost for Option 1 increases from $150 to $200, but Option 2 remains the same at $50. The Miscellaneous coverages

will continue to be included at no charge, when you buy either or both Options.

The AR PLUS will automatically be included on every new quote you offer beginning 4-1-2015.

Who’s Who: Amy Leonhardt, Regional Underwriting Manager

EquipmentBreakdownintheHome:for Agri-Range, Homeowners and Country Home

Wouldn’t it feel great to tell your customer that the entire cost of their new furnace or air conditioner (minus the $500 deductible) will be paid for by their insurance policy? Well, it could happen, and doeshappen often for those who have purchased Equipment Breakdown Coverage through Farmers Alliance.

In addition to furnaces and air conditioners, we’ve seen losses paid for failures to water heaters, flat screen televisions, dishwashers and pumps in hot tubs. Although not all items are covered, as there still needs to be a covered cause of loss, our experience has shown that the MAJORITY of the time the malfunction is covered by Equipment Breakdown Coverage.

This cost of this coverage is only $25 a year, and for that low premium, can you afford NOT to include it on all your Homeowners, Country Home and Agri-Range Policies?

Be sure you include this on any new business! And, if you’d like to add this coverage to your current business, we want to make it easy! E-mail Denise Unruh in Marketing ([email protected]) and get a list of your current policies, showing which policies don’t have this coverage yet. Just mark the list with your instructions and send it to back to us -- we’ll get this AWESOME coverage added right away!

This summary is for marketing purposes only. Refer to the policy for coverages provided and pricing. If there is any conflict between the policy and this document, THE PROVISIONS OF THE POLICY SHALL PREVAIL.
